Final Result ThaiTest Day 2

Final Result ThaiTest Day 2

On the second day ThaiTest buriram Thailand, the second pre-season test of 2018 motoGP championship has completed its race. On the second day it belongs to the honda repsol team, in the first session Dani Pedrosa finished the race to be the fastest, with a record time of 1m 30.127s. The second position in place of teammate, Marc Marquest with 1m 1.30.202s. In the last session, Marc Marquest managed to increase his speed with a speed of 1m 29.696s, being the fastest. Ducati and Yamaha teams also look competitive on this track. Surprisingly, Suzuki, after pairing two types of new fairing on the GSX-RR, Alex Rins and Ianone able to compensate Honda, Ducati and Yamaha.

On the second day of ThaiTest, the pace of the racer increased compared to the first day, around 700s, indicating that riders have started adapting to the Chang Buriram circuit. But on this second day a lot happened many crashes. It seems that this circuit still has problems at the optimum rate of speed when braking enters the corner. However, this can not be concluded, because Marquest and Pedrosa able to finish the race well.

Malayian rider's new race, Hafiz Syahrin riding Yamaha Tech 3, perform better than the previous day, was in second last position over Xavier Simeon who rode Avintia Ducati. On the second day Hafiz crashes. Jack Miller also experienced a crash, but he managed to finish the race with speed, became the second fastest after Marc Marquest. So did Alex Rins and Andrea Ianone.

Meanwhile, the legend, Valentino Rossi, in the first session managed to increase the time record, but in the second session failed to complete the final stage, down the rank of the order of the tenth in the first session to the order of fourteen. While his teammate, Maverick Vinales able to improve his time record better, where in the first session Vinales was in position 13 and in the second session managed to occupy the fourth position.

On the second day of ThaiTest, the Ducati Riders, mostly in the top 7, both in the first and second sessions. Danilo Petrucci who in the first session managed to poke into position three and the last session was in position six. And Ducati mainstay, Andreas Dovizioso, in the first session in fourth position and in the last session was in ninth position above Jorge Lorenzo who was in tenth position.

On the second day of this ThaiTest too, a lot of crashes, Franco Morbidelli was crashed. Alex Rins, Andrea Ianone, Jack Miller, Hafiz Syahrin and several other racers experienced the same thing. Cal Curtchlow who on the first day managed to be the fastest, on the second day down to eighth position, but from the record speed, better than the previous day.

KTM, Red Bull KTM Team Racing, who missed his drivers, Pol Edspargaro and went down with another rider, Bradley Smith, completed the race in 16th place. The highly competitive KTM in the 2017 moto2 event, up to two pre-season motoGP championship tests, at Sepang and Buriram, have not shown encouraging results. But this time record has not given a final conclusion.

Until the second day of ThaiTest, it seems the MotoGP race in 2018 will be more interesting, with the appearance of Suzuki that looks more competitive with its new fairing. New in years ago the Ducati team was able to compete to enliven the first line after previously dominated by Honda and Yamaha. With the addition of Suzuki, the race will be more interesting again, especially if KTM was able to improve it's performance.

As of this writing is loaded, ThaiTest third day buriram has completed the first session.

See you in ThaiTest on the third day.
