Laga klasik Persib Bandung kontra Persija Jakarta dipastikan batal digelar usai adanya kericuhan usai laga Arema FC kontra Persebaya Surabaya pada Sabtu malam, 01/10/2022.







Seharusnya, laga pekan ke-11 BRI Liga 1 Indonesia 2022/2023 antara Persib Bandung vs Persija Jakarta digelar pada Minggu, 02/10/2022, di Stadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA), Kota Bandung. Namun laga itu akhirnya ditunda.


Bukan hanya laga Maung Bandung kontra Macan Kemayoran yang ditunda, seluruh kompetisi BRI 1 musim inipun dihentikan sementara sesuai intruksi Presiden Joko Widodo dan PSSI.


Pengamat Sepakbola Doni Setiabudi menilai, penghentian kompetisi termasuk laga Persib vs Persija yang semula akan berlangsung sore ini merupakan keputusan tepat.

"Peristiwa ini harus menjadi pembelajaran dan pendewasaan kita bersama, seluruh insan olahraga dan pecinta sepakbola Indonesia agar menjunjung tinggi sportivitas dalam setiap pertandingan," ungkap Khofifah .
