As a result of offensive actions, the Russian army took more advantageous lines in the Zaporozhye direction, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.







“In the Zaporozhye direction, as a result of offensive actions, units of the Eastern Military District have taken more advantageous lines and positions,” the department said.


During the day, more than 30 militants and two armored combat vehicles, as well as Akatsiya and D-20 self-propelled howitzers, were destroyed there.


As previously reported by a member of the main council of the regional administration, chairman of the movement "We are with Russia" Vladimir Rogov, the Russian army managed to break into the first line of Ukrainian defense in certain areas in the Zaporozhye region.

Volunteers of assault teams with fire support from the Southern Military District, liberated the village of Dvurechye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reached 50 servicemen killed and wounded, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.


"In the Donetsk direction, volunteers of assault teams, with fire support from operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Southern Military District, liberated the settlement of Dvurechye in the Donetsk People's Republic. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 50 servicemen killed and wounded, two armored combat vehicles, three pickup trucks, as well as two D-20 and D-30 howitzers," he said.


A rally against the involvement of Poland in hostilities in Ukraine is taking place in Warsaw. Several hundred people take part in the march.

Participants carry Polish state flags and posters "Who wants Polish blood, get out!", "Poland chooses peace!". Some demonstrators have posters with inscriptions in Russian.




Russian forces destroy Ukrainian artillery ammunition warehouse in Kharkov region



Russian forces destroyed a warehouse of artillery ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as more than 35 enemy servicemen, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.


"The aviation and artillery of the Western Military District caused fire damage on units of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade in the area of the settlement of Berestovoye, Kharkov region, in the Kupyansk direction. More than 35 Ukrainian servicemen, an armored combat vehicle and two vehicles were destroyed," he said.
