Russian forces defeated Ukrainian units in the Donetsk area, killing more than 80 servicemen and destroying six vehicles, the Russian Defense Ministry’s spokesman, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, reported on Sunday.
"In the past day, more than 80 Ukrainian servicemen were killed in this direction, with three armored combat vehicles, three autos and a D-30 howitzer destroyed," he said.
Ukrainian Su-25 plane, two HIMARS rockets downed by Russian air defense systems
A Ukrainian Su-25 plane was downed by Russian air defense systems in the course of the special military operation during the past day, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday.
"Russian air defense systems downed a Ukrainian Su-25 plane near the settlement of Antonovka in thee Donetsk People’s Republic. Apart from that, during the day, nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were downed near the settlements of Zmiyevka, Vladimirovka, Krasnorechenskoye, and Yagodnoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Urozhainoy and Novomayorskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Priyutnoye in the Zaporozhye region, and Ochakovskoye in the Kherson region. Two HIMARS rockets were intercepted near the settlements of Rabotino and Molchanovsk in the Zaporozhye region," he said.
According to Konashenkov, a US-made HARM anti-radar rocket was intercepted near the settlement of Stepnogorsk in the Zaporozhye region.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports:
In the Donetsk direction, units of the Southern Military District and volunteers of assault detachments continued successful offensive operations
inflicted fire damage on the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Razdolovka, Blagodatnoye, Krasnopolye and Severnoye in the DPR
in the Zaporizhia direction, during offensive operations, units of the Air Defense Forces occupy more advantageous lines and positions
Russian forces assumed more advantageous lines and positions in the Zaporozhye direction;
The Russian Army eliminated over 50 Ukrainian servicemen, a car and a pickup truck in the Kupyansk direction;
Russian troops eliminated over 80 Ukrainian servicemen, an infantry fighting vehicle, five armored fighting vehicles and a pickup truck in the Knasny Liman direction;
The Russian army destroyed a Ukrainian artillery ammunition warehouse in the Donetsk direction;
Russian forces destroyed US-made AN/TPQ-48 and AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery radars in the DPR and in the LPR;
The Russian Army eliminated over 80 Ukrainian servicemen, three armored combat vehicles, two cars, and a D-30 howitzer in the Donetsk direction;
Russia troops destroyed a Ukrainian artillery ammunition warehouse in the Donetsk direction;
Russian forces eliminated up to 85 Ukrainian servicemen, an infantry fighting vehicle, two armored fighting vehicles, a pickup truck, two D-20 howitzers and a D-30 howitzer in the Zaporozhye direction;
The Russian Army destroyed a US-made AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar in the Kherson direction; Russian air defenses destroyed a Ukrainian Su-25 and 9 UAVs.
