"Pusaka di last minute.

The countries of the collective West who sponsor Ukraine have failed yet again to condemn the Kiev regime, this time for its latest terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, Russian Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitriy Polyansky told a meeting of the UN Security Council.

"Today, we will learn about the latest terrorist attacks of the Kiev regime targeting the bridge in Crimea, hundreds of kilometers from the area of hostilities, as a result of which two innocent Russians died and a 14-year-old daughter was gravely wounded," the envoy said on Monday.

"I have not heard any condemnation of this act of terrorism from any of the Western sponsors of the Kiev regime."

Western intelligence services, including that of the United Kingdom, were complicit in the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, Polyansky said.

"We will have get to the bottom of this," he added.

Earlier Monday, the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee said the Kiev regime carried out a terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge using two underwater drones. Two adults were killed in the attack and a child sustained serious injuries.

Kerch Bridge Attack Part of US-Ukraine PsyOps Against Russian Civilians in Crimea

The bombing attack on the Kerch Strait bridge on Monday, allegedly carried out by Ukrainian naval drones, did not accidentally kill two civilians, a Russian military expert said. Rather, it was calculated to instill fear in the besieged Russian population of the region.

Vasily Dandykin, a Captain 1st Rank of the Russian Navy reserve, told Sputnik that the bridge represents a kind of “sacred” bond between Russia and Crimea, and the time when Crimea left Ukraine and rejoined Russia.

“For us, the Crimean Bridge is not just the most important economic facility, state, defense, but it is also a sacred place, it is a symbol of the Crimean Spring of 2014. This is such a thread that united us when we did not yet have a special military operation. And of course, they understand this perfectly,” he said.

The officer said the main effect of the media coverage of the attack will be disrupting tourism to Crimea during the summer holidays and “creating uncertainty” among those who live on the peninsula. He noted Kiev has threatened that “800,000 of those Russians who arrived in Crimea would definitely be expelled, just as, for example, how Germans were expelled from Poland in those territories that they got as a result of the Great Patriotic War, and they will ‘deal with the rest,’ with collaborators and so on.”

“People died, the girl is now an orphan. How many times have we seen this over the last year? In October, the attack was 'global,' with both the railway part and the automobile part being damaged. Our guys got the repair job done quickly, and afterwards the bridge’s defenses were strengthened. Since then, their attempted attacks have failed.

As a result, Dandykin concluded “it is likely that this was an advanced drone, certain in terms of carrying more explosives. Although, of course, the damage to the bridge is serious, but not the same as in October. It is likely that they used some kind of delivery vehicle - for example, one of the ships that sails the Black Sea.”

The naval officer said the situation “fully fits” with the NATO concept of psyops, or psychological operations. “We have a hybrid war. Judging by the fact that cyber troops exist in America, and the special services are working completely in that direction, that this is intimidation of the population. Obviously, all these provocations - Bucha, etc, the shooting at Kramatorsk - are against the civilian population. This fits into the concept of psychological operations, and they work according to this scenario. These are, in principle, performers, basically. The puppeteers are sitting in the West, coordinating, sending all these drones or their components, which are assembled somewhere.”

Dandykin said the West's claims to not be involved in the bridge attack are unbelievable because, like several other operations attributed to Kiev, they are impossible for a country with such limited capabilities to carry out.

“It's easiest for them to blame everything on Ukraine. Of course, they are rare scoundrels and among them there are not mediocre scoundrels and criminals and terrorists. But to consider that the Ukrainians, or, say, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, destroyed the two Nord Stream pipelines is already in the realm of humor. The easiest thing to do now is to blame everything on them,” he said.

“This is not the first time: a NATO center was built in Ochakovo by the Americans and the British. They trained the special forces of Ukraine, everything comes from there. And all this is interconnected. All these bells and whistles that they do are largely an English trace: MI6 is working and they also have an organization that is and has been engaged in sabotage. And, of course, tips and instructors, too. The operation that was done with the explosives on the [Kerch Strait] bridge with the car. There are curators, everything is organized. And even in terms of surface drones - this obviously also came from there, because the British have such various developments.”

Dandykin explained that naval drones are an emerging technology that several states, including the United States and Russia, have been developing.

“This is an effective tool that is being developed. There are already large-displacement surface drones that carry weapons, in particular in America, that can travel thousands of miles. It's developing, including both surface and underwater.”

“The largest unique underwater drone is Russia’s atomic Poseidon. They call it a torpedo, but, in fact it is a drone that follows a directed trajectory, with a loaded program, and so on. All this is developing and developing very quickly. And we must be ready for this.”

He noted that new types of defense will have to be developed to counter the threat of drones, such as electronic warfare, in order to defend locations such as the Kerch Bridge or Sevastopol naval base.

“I think that the Global Hawk, the US strategic drone, which also captures and transmits information, is still constantly working in the Black Sea. This is a very expensive and advanced drone that takes off from the Mediterranean Sea, flies in neutral waters. And, of course, the satellites are constantly up above and give all the information on all points, not only on the bridge. It is likely that they received a tip and acted according to it. Intelligence passed this, of course. This action was not spontaneous, that's for sure. In my opinion, everything will be done to ensure that this does not happen again.”

Russia’s sanitary watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor, said on Monday that it has enhanced security protocols for flights from Egypt following the outbreak of an unidentified disease in that country.

"In light of the current situation, Rospotrebnadzor has tightened sanitary and quarantine controls with respect to flights from Egypt, including using the Perimeter automated information system," it said.

According to the watchdog, symptoms of the disease that has been registered in Egypt resemble those of dengue fever. The watchdog said it is in contact with the Egyptian side and international organizations to learn more about the disease, risks of its trans-border proliferation, preventive and epidemic measures.

Dengue fever is caused by the dengue virus, which is transmitted via Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. Dengue fever cannot be caught from being close to an infected person, it can be contracted only from the bite of an infected mosquito, the watchdog noted.

"Rospotrebnadzor warns tourists planning to vacation in Egypt: in order to avoid getting insect-borne infectious and parasitic diseases, please observe precautions: wear clothing that maximally protects the skin, use mosquito repellents, and put mosquito nets over doors and windows. When back home, consult a doctor if you feel sick and don’t forget to tell the doctor where you have come from," it added.

Health control and quarantine measures on flights from Egypt have been strengthened due to the spread of an unknown disease in Upper Egypt, a statement from the Russian supervisory authority said.

Egyptian TV host Amr Adib on Saturday reported that 200 people in Qena governorate were infected with a strange disease which symptoms included high fever, headache, fatigue, and stomach pain.

During his show on the “al-Hekaya” (The Story) show on MBC Masr, Adib said that the Ministry of Health and Population moved and took urgent measures into the matter.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health issued a statement on Sunday, after 250 people from the village of al-Aleqat, Qena Governorate, came down with symptoms from a mysterious disease of unknown cause.

The Egyptian Health Ministry in its statement explained that the symptoms that patients suffer from do not form a unified pattern, range from mild to moderate, and do not require hospitalization.

Airlangga nilai pembangunan infrastruktur mampu turunkan rasio gini

Airlangga nilai pembangunan infrastruktur mampu turunkan rasio gini

Airlangga nilai pembangunan infrastruktur mampu turunkan rasio gini

The Kiev regime’s attack on the Crimean Bridge will not be left unanswered, Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed on Monday.

"Naturally, Russia’s response will follow. The defense ministry is working on relevant proposals," he said at a government meeting on the situation around the Crimean Bridge.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that a terrorist attack was committed on the Crimean Bridge on Monday which left a child orphaned.

"Last night, another terrorist attact was committed on the bridge. Civilians were killed. A child was wounded and left without parents. The family was traveling to the Crimea from the Belgorod Region,” Putin said during a meeting on Crimean Bridge attack, adding that he expects to see suggestions on how to increase security in the area since the facility suffered its second terrorist attack.

The President also instructed Russia’s Investigative Committee and the Federal Security Service “to find out in detail” what happened.

Putin also said that “the main thing” is that bridge’s piers were not damaged in the terrorist attack.

"This crime is senseless, from a military point of view, has no significance, since the Crimean Bridge has not been used for military transportation for a long time," the President added.

On Monday, the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee said that Kiev carried out a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge using two surface drones. The road part of the bridge was damaged, two adults were killed, and one child was injured.

On July 17, the Crimean Bridge which links Crimea to mainland Russia withstood the second terrorist attack in its history. The bridge has become a major target for Ukrainian criminals due to the poor situation for Kiev on the frontline.

On Monday, Ukraine dropped a hint about its complicity in the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge: the Ukrainian military intelligence department chief, Kirill Budanov, stated that "this structure is unnecessary". RBC-Ukraine, citing a source in the Security Service of Ukraine, reported that the terror attack on the Crimean Bridge was a special operation conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy, using surface drones.

On 8 October 2022, the Ukrainian regime commited the first terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge by blowing a truck and causing seven fuel tanks of a freight train to catch fire and two car spans partially to collapse, killing three civilians, according to Russia's National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC).

Russia Suspends Participation in Grain Deal

Russia Suspends Participation in Grain Deal

Russia Suspends Participation in Grain Deal

CC0//

The suspension of the year-old Black Sea Grain Initiative comes after months of controversy concerning Western countries' failure to implement its terms - specifically steps to facilitate the export of Russian foodstuffs and fertilizers.

Moscow has suspended its participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative, but will be prepared to return to the deal as soon as agreements concerning Russia are implemented properly, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

"The Grain Deal has been stopped. As soon as its Russian part is implemented, the Russian side will immediately return to the implementation of this agreement," Peskov told reporters on Monday.

July 17 was the deadline for the Grain Deal's extension, with Moscow warning repeatedly in recent weeks and months that it would consider halting its participation in the agreement until and unless its demands concerning artificial measures put in place by the United States and its allies to strangle Russian agricultural and fertilizer exports were met.

The Grain Deal or Black Sea Grain Initiative is a two part agreement signed in July 2022 by Russia, Ukraine, Turkiye, and the United Nations to facilitate agricultural exports from Russia and Ukraine - two of the world's leaders on agricultural production who jointly account for over a third of global cereals exports.

The first part of the agreement - the facilitation of the export of Ukrainian foodstuffs from Black Sea ports through waters controlled by the Russian Navy, have been implemented in full, with tens of millions of tons of grains including corn, wheat, barley, and sunflower oils worth over $5.5 billion exported through safe corridors over the past year.

The second part of the agreement, concerning Russian food and fertilizer exports, has not been implemented to anywhere near the same levels, with the United States and the European Union failing to lift or ease sanctions restrictions, resulting in banks hesitating to issue loans for purchases of Russian grain, insurers refusing to provide insurance, and agricultural equipment producers halting sales to Russia and stopping the supply of spare parts and maintenance, all in fear of reprisals from Washington and Brussels. At the same time, Russia's agriculture-focused Rosselkhozbank remains disconnected from SWIFT, resulting in difficulties in international payments, and many foreign assets and deposits of Russian companies linked with the transportation of food and fertilizers remain blocked. Finally, a section of the Togliatti-Odessa pipeline - which used to ship Russian ammonia for use in fertilizers to the Black Sea port of Odessa, was blown up by Ukrainian saboteurs in June, restricting Russia's ability to export fertilizers via traditional trade routes.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed regret over Russia's decision later in the day Monday, saying the Grain Deal had "made history" and prevented a global food crisis.

Erdogan said recently appointed Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss the agreement's fate. He added that he personally expects to discuss the deal with President Putin after returning from his whirlwind fundraising tour in the Gulf.

Grain Deal's Main Purpose Unfulfilled

In addition to failing to account for Russia's commercial and economic interests, the Grain Deal did not serve the moral, humanitarian purpose which UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres outlined when lobbying Moscow to sign it in 2022: namely the effort to ensure food security for food-insecure nations in the Global South.

"The main goal of the deal, namely the supply of grain to countries in need, including on the African continent, has not been implemented," Russian President Vladimir Putin said in talks with his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, over the weekend.

Earlier this month, Russia's Foreign Ministry calculated that just 2.6 percent of all shipments via the Grain Deal went to the world's most food insecure nations, including Ethiopia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Sudan and Somalia, with 80 percent going to countries with high or above average incomes. Other estimates suggest that nearly 70 percent of the grain ended up in European Union countries and Turkiye, with part of these deliveries used as surplus grain to fatten up domestic livestock.

According to Moscow, of all the exports carried out by Ukraine over the Black Sea Grain Initiative's lifespan, some 70 percent consisted of feed corn and fodder crops, while Russian grain supplies (70 percent of which consist of wheat), as well as fertilizers, remain constrained despite their potential to help push down spiking global wheat prices, which have a tendency to hit developing nations the hardest.

President Putin dropped hints on the Grain Deal's fate in an interview with Russian media last week.

"As for the conditions under which we had agreed to ensure the safe export of Ukrainian grain, yes, there were clauses within this agreement with the UN under which Russian interests had to be taken into account, including logistics, insurance, the transfer of funds related to payment for our agricultural goods, and many other points," Putin said

"Nothing, and I would like to emphasize this - nothing has been done at all in this regard. It's been a one-sided relationship," the Russian leader stressed. "Despite this, we voluntarily extended this so-called deal many times. Many times. But listen: enough is enough."
