Russian President Vladimir Putin will have a working meeting with Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov on Monday with issues of the special military operation to be in the focus among other matters, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"The president has a number of working meetings scheduled for today, he will also hear a report from Ramzan Kadyrov. (On the agenda are) the affairs of the Chechen Republic, issues of socio-economic development, the results for last year with a glance to the special military operation, in continuation of the dialogue with the region’s leaders," Peskov said.
Putin is working in the Kremlin on Monday and has already had a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. "The focus was on bilateral relations, and other key issues (were discussed)," the Kremlin spokesman added.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that republican fighters “aim to act to the end” in the special military operation (SVO) zone in Ukraine.
“The fighters of the Chechen Republic are successfully deploying in the NVO region, we carry out all your orders and aim to act to the end,” said Kadyrov.
According to him, the inhabitants of Chechnya fully support the conduct of special operations and consider it necessary for the achievement of its goals and objectives.
Legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh on Sunday offered a theory for what he sees as “complete idiocy” in foreign policy from US officials. He told Chinese state television that he believes they’re so consumed by hatred of Russian President Vladimir Putin that they stumble into bad decisions.
Hersh, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who reported last month that US President Joe Biden ordered last fall’s sabotage of the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines, has called the alleged plot one of Washington’s “dumbest” decisions in years. However, the blunder didn’t reflect a lack of intelligence among top officials in Biden’s administration, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Hersh said in an interview with CGTN.
Top administration officials “all have high degrees of, plenty of, intelligence,” Hersh said. “It’s just what they're so driven by, I think, hatred of all things particularly Putin, and also communism per se. They’re so cold warriors, they’re really out of sorts. It makes them do dumb things.”
The White House dismissed Hersh’s bombshell report on the Nord Stream blast as “complete fiction.” The New York Times, where Hersh did award-winning work on the Watergate scandal and other stories as a star reporter in the 1970s, claimed earlier this month that a “pro-Ukraine group” was behind the Nord Stream attack. The story cited unidentified US officials.
Hersh told CGTN that neither the Ukrainian navy nor a non-state actor had the resources to carry out the sabotage, which involved planting C4 explosives on four concrete-encased steel pipelines at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. He said the false claim was made to distract from the fact that US Navy divers planted the remotely detonated explosives under cover of a NATO exercise in the Baltic.
“They’re trying to divert attention from the story that I wrote, which included enormous specifics,” Hersh said. “I was describing a process that began before Christmas of 2021... They had a series of meetings at a secret room in the White House, that I gave clues I know the title of the room.”
The veteran journalist argued that being “antagonistic” with China and Russia is counterproductive for Washington. “They make it personal. They don’t make it professional.” He added that Biden’s foreign policy has alienated governments around the world since Russia’s military operation in Ukraine began last year.
“Russia has made more friends in the Third World since this began than anybody in this administration seems to appreciate,” Hersh said. “This notion of American hegemony, if you will, just doesn’t work anymore.”
Diplomat slams Ukraine’s allegations of Russia’s reluctance to hold talks as colossal lie
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has slammed her Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba’s statement that Moscow is reluctant to negotiate the crisis settlement with Kiev as a "colossal lie".

Bidan Euis dari Desa Buniara, menjadi saksi kasus ibu hamil bernama Kurnaesih (39) yang meninggal setelah ditolak RSUD Subang. Kepada wartawan, Euis menceritakan kembali insiden yang terjadi Kamis, 16 Februari 2023 lalu itu.
"Sekitar pukul 18.30 WIB atau ba'da Maghrib, Pak Juju Junaedi datang ke tempat praktik saya membawa istrinya untuk periksa kehamilan istri yang sudah sembilan bulan," tutur Euis saat ditemui, pada hari Rabu, 08/03/2023.
Namun, baru diperiksa, Kurnaesih muntah-muntah. Euis sempat mengira saat itu Kurnaesih hanya mual karena mau melahirkan karena secara fisik, pasiennya itu terlihat sehat.
"Tapi karena khawatir, takut terjadi sesuatu, saya bersama suami pasien langsung membawanya ke Puskesmas Tanjungsiang. Sampai di Puskesmas sekitar pukul 19.30 WIB. Sampai di Puskesmas, pasien muntah-muntah lagi," lanjutnya.
Untuk memastikan kondisi Kurnaesih, Euis dan bidan yang berjaga di Puskesmas serta pihak keluarga langsung membawa Kurnaesih ke RSUD Subang. Saat itu mereka menggunakan ambulans milik Puskesmas Tanjungsiang.
"Saat itu pihak Puskesmas memberi tahu pihak RSUD Subang via telepon bahwa ada pasien yang mau melahirkan dirujuk ke RSUD. Untuk surat rujukan sendiri menyusul dan akan dibawa oleh pihak keluarga," ungkap Euis.
Mereka tiba di RSUD Subang sekitar pukul 21.00 WIB, dan Kurnaesih langsung dibawa ke IGD. Setelah mendapatkan perawatan sebentar di IGD, Kurnaesih lalu dibawa ke ruangan khusus ibu melahirkan, Pelayanan Obstetri Neonatal Emergency Komprehensif (PONEK).
"Namun sayang, sampai di ruang PONEK, perawatnya malah ngomong, 'Ruangan PONEK penuh dan ICU juga penuh, silakan bawa pasien ke rumah sakit yang lain' tanpa ada pemeriksaan dari pihak perawat di ruang tersebut," ucapnya.
Euis juga mengaku sempat adu mulut dengan perawat di PONEK agar Kurnaesih bisa diperiksa lebih dulu karena kondisinya sudah kritis. Namun permohonannya itu diabaikan oleh perawat di sana.
Saat itu Euis sempat bersikukuh agar Kurnaesih mendapat pemeriksaan terlebih dahulu.
"Saat itu saya minta tolonglah kepada para perawat, cek dulu kesehatan pasien. Jauh-jauh saya bawa dari Tanjungsiang ke Subang hanya mendapat omongan rumah sakit penuh, bukannya diperiksa dulu," tukasnya.
"Tapi malah tetap dicuekin. Saat itu, saya minta tolonglah kepada para perawat cek dulu kesehatan pasien jauh-jauh saya bawa dari Tanjungsiang ke Subang hanya mendapat omongan rumah sakit penuh, bukannya diperiksa," ungkap Euis.
Saat itu, karena merasa kecewa dan bingung, Euis mencoba mengobrol dengan pihak keluarga pasien. Ia menanyakan bagaimana jika Kurnaesih dibawa ke rumah sakit lain karena di RSUD Subang penuh, dan pihak keluarga langsung setuju.
Kurnaesih akhirnya dirujuk ke rumah sakit lainnya di Bandung dengan ambulans milik Puskesmas Tanjungsiang. Tapi di tengah jalan, Kurnaesih kembali muntah-muntah dan akhirnya meninggal dunia sebelum sempat sampai ke rumah sakit.
Euis mengaku kecewa dan malu dengan tindakan perawat di RSUD Subang tersebut. Menurutnya, kondisi Kurnaesih saat itu sangat membutuhkan pertolongan.
"Jujur, saya merasa malu sekaligus kecewa. Kita sama-sama berprofesi sebagai tenaga kesehatan. Cobalah kerja yang baik dan profesional karena pekerjaan kita sama-sama menyelamatkan nyawa manusia," pungkasnya.
Ridwan Kamil Angkat Bicara Soal Kasus Ibu Hamil yang Meninggal karena Ditolak RSUD Subang
Menurut Ridwan Kamil jika dalam kondisi emergency seperti yang dialami Kurnaesih (39), ibu hamil asal Kampung Citombe, Buniara, Tanjungsiang, Subang ini seharusnya rumah sakit dapat melakukan penanganan sesegera mungkin.
Ridwan Kamil berharap Bupati Subang dapat segera menindaklanjuti kasus dugaan penolakan pasien ibu hamil tersebut dengan harapan peristiwa ini menjadi pembelajaran penting bagi semua pihak.
"Saya sudah minta Pak Bupati untuk menegur dan mengevaluasi RSUD, karena jika sangat emergency (kedaruratan), urusan nyawa harus didahulukan apapun situasinya," kata Ridwan Kamil, dikutip prfmnews.id dari ANTARA, Selasa 7 Maret 2023.
Ridwan Kamil meminta agar Bupati Subang segera mengambil tindakan terkait kasus tersebut.
"Saya sudah minta Pak Bupati untuk menegur dan mengevaluasi RSUD, karena jika sangat emergency, urusan nyawa harus didahulukan apapun situasinya," tegas Ridwan Kamil, Selasa 7 Februari 2023.
Berdasarkan laporan yang diterima Ridwan Kamil, alasan rumah sakit tidak bisa melayani ibu bernama Kurnaesih (39) itu karena ruangan ICU yang sudah terisi penuh.
"Bupati Subang sudah mengumpulkan semua pihak, dan alasan Rumah Sakit Subang tidak bisa menangani karena ICU penuh," ujarnya.

Three civilians killed, 9 more wounded in LPR’s Perevalsk in shelling by Ukrainian troops
Three civilians were killed and nine more, including children, were wounded in the city of Perevalks in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops, Vitaly Mikhailov, head of the Perevalsk district administration, said on Sunday.
"According to preliminary data, the shelling attack left three civilians dead. Six people were wounded and taken to a hospital, three of them are minors. Three more sought medical assistance in the outpatient department. In other words, three were killed and nine were wounded," he told TASS.

Two Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters, seven HIMARS and Uragan rockets and one drone were downed by Russian air defense systems in the course of the special military operation during the past day, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday.

Russian troops suppress activities of five Ukrainian saboteur groups in Kupyansk direction
"In the Kupyansk direction, artillery fire of the Zapad group of troops over the day struck Ukrainian units in the Kharkov Region’s settlements of Masyutovka, Dvurechnaya, Pershotravnevoye and the Lugansk People’s Republic’s Novoselovskoye. Seorang oknum aparatur sipil negara (ASN) diduga telah melakukan perbuatan yang mencoreng profesinya.
Bagaimana tidak, bukannya memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, oknum ASN ini justru tersikap kejam terhadap warga.
Parahnya, warga yang menjadi korban perbuatan kejam oknum ASN tersebut adalah seorang nenek yang hidupnya pas-pasan.
Korban penganiayaan oknum AN itu adalah Muliati (68), nenek penjual kue keliling asal Kecamatan Bajeng, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan (Sulsel).
Anak korban berinisial I (26), mengatakan, terduga pelaku penganiayaan ibunya adalah ASN berinisial H (58), yang bertugas di Kelurahan Kale Bajeng, Kecamatan Bajeng, Kabupaten Gowa.
Akibat tindak penganiayaan tersebut, ungkap I, tulang pinggul kiri Muliati mengalami keretakan sehingga ibunya kini hanya bisa berbaring di tempat tidur.
I menjelaskan, kabar soal tindak penganiayaan ibunya yang terjadi di depan SD Inpres Panciro itu didapatnya dari seorang kerabat.
Kerabatnya itu meminta I untuk segera membawa ibunya yang telah dianiaya oleh terduga pelaku.
"Saya ditelepon, katanya cepat datang ke sini, ibumu dipukul. Saat tiba di lokasi, ibu saya terlihat sudah terbaring di tanah," kata I, hari Sabtu, 11/03/2023.
Menurut I, tindak penganiayaan oleh terduga pelaku bukan pertama kalinya dilakukan kepada ibunya.
"Pemukulan yang dialami ibu saya, sudah berulang kali dialami. Pelakunya orang yang sama, seorang ASN kelurahan," ujar Ilham.
Dia menilai, penganiayaan yang dialami oleh Muliati kini sudah melewati batas, sebab telah menyebabkan ibunya menjadi sakit.
I pun menegaskan, dia telah melaporkan kejadian tersebut kepada pihak kepolisian agar segera diselidiki.
"Aksi pelaku sudah kelewatan, sudah membuat tulang pinggul sebelah kiri ibu saya terlepas dan mengalami retakan dan sepertinya ibu saya akan cacat permanen," ungkapnya.
"Sangat disayangkan, seorang ASN yang seharusnya menjadi pelayan masyarakat, justru melakukan penganiayaan terhadap lansia yang menjual kue keliling. Semoga polisi bisa menangkap pelaku," tandasnya.
Sementara itu, Kasat Reskrim Polres Gowa, AKP Bahtiar mengatakan, pihaknya kini tengah menyelidiki kasus tersebut.
Bahtiar menyatakan, pihaknya juga akan memproses dan memeriksa saksi-saksi berkaitan kasus tersebut.
"Sementara dalam proses penyelidikan," pungkasnya.

Ilham menjelaskan aksi kekerasan yang dialami ibunya itu sudah sering terjadi. Pelakunya adalah orang yang sama. Menurutnya, aksi pemukulan kali ini sudah kelewat batas.
"Aksi pelaku sudah kelewatan, sudah membuat tulang pinggul sebelah kiri ibu saya terlepas dan mengalami retakan dan sepertinya ibu saya akan cacat permanen," bebernya.
Ilham menyebut, korban dan terduga pelaku bersaudara. Muliati merupakan anak pertama dari delapan bersaudara. Sedangkan terduga pelaku merupakan anak keempat.
"Ibu saya delapan bersaudara, dia anak pertama kalau itu yang pelaku anak keempat," ujarnya.
Muliati bercerita HL menganiayanya karena soal utang piutang. Menurutnya, pelaku yang bertugas di Kantor kelurahan Kalebajeng kerap mengamuk dan memukulinya jika ia tak memberi pinjaman uang.
