The Russian Aerospace Forces struck a major logistics center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past 24 hours, where Western-supplied missiles were stored, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Monday.
"Operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops, and artillery units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have targeted a large logistics hub of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the statement said.
“This center was used for the accumulation, storage, and redistribution of weapons, including missile systems provided by Western countries to the Kiev regime,” it added. “Additionally, we have targeted concentrations of enemy personnel and military equipment in 112 areas."
The Ukrainian armed forces have lost up to 610 soldiers in battles with Russia’s Yug group of forces over the past 24 hours, as well as "a tank, a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, four cars [among other losses in battles with the southern group]," the ministry added.

The Tsentr Battlegroup has repelled five counterattacks by Ukrainian troops and Kiev has lost up to 430 soldiers, while the Vostok Battlegroup has repelled one counterattack and Ukraine has lost over 140 soldiers.
Ukraine has also lost up to 480 servicepeople in battles with the Zapad group of Russian forces, the ministry said, adding that Russia’s north group of forces clashed with Ukrainian troops in he Kharkov region and Kiev has lost up to 220 soldiers.
Russian Foreign Ministry Summons US Ambassador Over Attack on Sevastopol
The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday that it had summoned US Ambassador to Russia Lynne Tracy to express a demarche in connection with Kiev's missile attack on Sevastopol.
"During a conversation at the Russian Foreign Ministry on June 24 with the summoned head of the US diplomatic mission in Russia, Lynne Tracy, a demarche was made in connection with the new bloody crime of the Kiev regime, sponsored and armed by Washington, which launched a targeted missile attack on the civilian population of Sevastopol, accompanied by numerous casualties, including children," the ministry said in a statement.
Washington’s actions encouraging the pro-Nazi authorities of Ukraine to take military action will not go unpunished, the ministry said, adding that there will be response measures.
The United States bears equal responsibility with Kiev for the missile strike on the civilian population of Sevastopol, the statement read.
On Sunday, the Ukrainian armed forces attacked Sevastopol, using US-made ATACMS missiles with cluster warheads, four of which were shot down and one deflected and exploded over the city. The attack killed at least four people and injured more than 150 others.
Russian Pacific Fleet Flexes Firepower in Sea of Okhotsk, Sea of Japan Drills
The Russian Pacific Fleet is a major sea force of the Russian Navy that is based in Vladivostok. As one of the Russian Navy's largest and most important fleets, it is responsible for defending Russia's interests in the Asia-Pacific region.
Ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet conducted artillery and surface-to-air missile firing in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan as part of an exercise, the fleet's information support department told reporters. What's noteworthy is that the reconnaissance was carried out by Ka-27PS deck helicopters. Sailors also set up camouflage by using smoke screens to protect against mock enemy unmanned boats.
"In the second stage, the ship groups engaged in a sea battle with the ships of the conditional enemy, unleashing artillery fire at surface and air targets. Self-defense surface-to-air missile systems were also used to neutralize an air attack," the department said.
The Pacific Fleet's tactical exercise is running from June 18 to 28 in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk under the command of Pacific Fleet Commander-in-Chief Admiral Victor Liina.
In total, the exercise involves about 40 ships, boats and support vessels, about 20 aircraft and helicopters of the Pacific Fleet Naval Aviation.
