Tol Bocini Siap Digunakan Pas Natal dan Tahun Baru

Polres Sukabumi memastikan jalan tol Bocimi dari Cigombong, Kabupaten Bogor hingga Cibadak, Kabupaten Sukabumi sudah bisa digunakan saat perayaan Natal 2022 dan Tahun Baru 2023.

"Kami dan petugas Dinas Perhubungan kabupaten Sukabumi meninjau langsung proses pengerjaan pembangunan Jalan Tol Bocimi sesi II Cigombong-Cibadak sepanjang 11,9 km. Dari hasil peninjauan itu kami optimis ruas jalan itu sudah bisa digunakan saat perayaan Natal dan Tahun Baru," kata Kapolres Sukabumi AKBP Dedy Dharmawansyah di Sukabumi pada Sabtu, 29 Oktober 2022.

AKBP Dedy menerangkan bahwa, peninjauan pengerjaan pembangunan ruas jalan tol ini untuk memastikan kesiapan sarana dan prasarana saat libur Natal dan Tahun Baru, karena pihaknya memprediksi pada musim liburan itu jumlah wisatanya yang datang ke wilayah Kabupaten Sukabumi khususnya ke wilayah hukum Polres Sukabumi akan jauh meningkat dibandingkan tahun lalu.

Oleh karena itu, pihaknya mempersiapkan berbagai hal sejak dini untuk memastikan layanan, keselamatan dan keamanan warga yang merayakan Natal serta Tahun Baru di wilayah Sukakabumi.

Selain itu juga, kedatangan pihaknya ke lokasi proyek pembangunan jalan tol ini untuk berkoordinasi dengan pihak pengembang untuk memastikan bahwa pada Desember 2022 ruas Tol Bocimi dari Cigombong hingga Cibadak sudah bisa digunakan.

Peninjauan ini untuk mempersiapkan personelnya yang nantinya ditempatkan di ruas jalan tol tersebut dalam hal pengamanan untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti kecelakaan lalu lintas dan lainnya.

"Kami pun sudah memberikan instruksi kepada para kapolsek yang wilayah hukumnya masuk di ruas Jalan Tol Bocimi untuk memberikan pengaman kepada pekerja proyek pembangunan jika membutuhkan pengamanan di malam hari," tambahnya.

Dedy mengatakan bahwa, dengan dimanfaatkan ruas Tol Bocimi hingga Cibadak tentunya akan mempermudah warga khususnya yang ingin datang ke Sukabumi karena bisa lebih efisien baik di waktu maupun biaya.

Informasinya, pengerjaan pembangunan tersebut akan selesai pada Desember 2022 sehingga dipastikan ruas jalan tol ini sudah bisa melayani masyarakat baik dari arah Sukabumi menuju Bogor maupun sebaliknya.

Dengan dimanfaatkan jalan tol itu tentu bisa mengurai kepadatan arus kendaraan di jalan utama Sukabumi-Bogor sehingga bisa mencegah terjadinya kemacetan arus lalu lintas. Pihaknya juga sudah berkoordinasi dengan pihak pengembang yakni PT Waskita, terkait beberapa titik yang rawan.

“Apabila membutuhkan pengamanan di malam hari, karena banyak material, sekaligus kami melakukan pengecekan jalur yang akan digunakan pada saat Nataru nanti. Dan ada daerah yang belum selesai kami meminta para kapolsek untuk dibantu apakah pekerjaan malam dibantu pengamanannya,” paparnya lagi.

Masih kata Dedy, berdasarkan hasil pengecekan di lapangan, dipastikan pada jalan tol ruas Cigombong-Cibadak akan selesai sesuai jadwal yang sudah ditentukan.

“Cuma satu titik yang agak terlambat di akhir pembangunan jembatan. Namun kami sudah berkoordinasi dengan pihak PT Waskita Karya dan proyek jalan tol menggunakan jalan kanan. Nanti akan ada pengerasan sehingga jalan bisa digunakan kendaraan roda empat, Insyaallah Desember bisa beres,” tutupnya

Proyek jalan tol Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) merupakan salah satu dari rangkaian Proyek Strategis Nasional yang dicanangkan oleh Pemerintah. Tol Bocimi diharapkan dapat mengurangi kemacetan yang selama ini terjadi bila ada perjalanan yang menuju ke arah Sukabumi.

Jalur Tol Bocimi melintasi dua kabupaten yang ada di Indonesia, yakni Kabupaten Bogor dan Sukabumi. Dengan total investasi sebesar Rp 7,77 triliun, ruas jalan tol Bocimi memiliki panjang 54 kilometer dan pembangunannya dibagi atas 4 seksi, yakni seksi 1 Ciawi-Cigombong dengan panjang 15,35 kilometer, seksi 2 Cigombong-Cibadak dengan panjang 11,9 kilometer, seksi 3 Cibadak-Sukabumi dengan panjang 13,7 kilometer dan terakhir seksi 4 Sukabumi Barat-Sukabumi Timur dengan panjang 13,05 kilometer.

Pembangunan jalan tol Bocini sendiri disambut dengan baik oleh Gubernur Jawa Barat Ahmad Heryawan dan berharap pembangunanya akan berjalan sampai selesai. Menurutnya, rencana proses pembangunan tol Bocimi sebenarnya sudah direncanakan sejak tahun 1997 dan ini merupakan perencanaan yang keempat.

Russian MoD: UK Royal Navy Officials Involved in Nord Stream Terrorist Act

Moscow classifies the Nord Stream pipeline blasts as acts of international terrorism, as Denmark and Sweden bar Russia from probing the incidents. The Russian Foreign Ministry underscores that the investigation can be considered reliable and objective only if Moscow participates in it.

The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) has stated that UK Royal Navy officials took part in the planning and implementation of a terrorist attack on the Nord Stream gas pipeline network in the Baltic Sea on September 26.

"According to the obtained data, the UK Navy representatives took part in planning, organizing and carrying out the terrorist act in the Baltic Sea on September 26, 2022 to blow up the Nord Stream-1 and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines," the MoD said in a statement on Saturday.

In late September, the suspected explosions occurred at three of the four strings of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 underwater pipelines, built to carry a combined annual 110 billion cubic meters of Russian gas to Europe under the Baltic Sea.

The bombing halted gas deliveries to Germany ahead of the cold season, prompting a gas price hike and a scramble for alternative sources of fuel in the European Union.

The Swedish and Danish authorities suspect that the incident was the result of sabotage, with both countries barring Russia from investigating the attack. The Russian Prosecutor General's Office classified the pipeline blasts as acts of international terrorism. According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, the investigation of terrorist attacks can only be considered reliable and objective if Moscow takes part in the probe.

The operator company Nord Stream AG later said that the damage to the pipeline system is unprecedented, while Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that it was a deliberate assault on Europe's energy infrastructure, hinting that the US and Britain could be responsible for the blasts.

A joint venture by the Russian energy giant Gazprom and four Western European energy companies, Nord Stream 2, is a 1,230 km twin gas pipeline along the bottom of the Baltic Sea which complements the existing Nord Stream 1 network.

Construction on Nord Stream 2 was completed in September 2021 but Germany delayed its operational certification and halted the process indefinitely in February, shortly before Russia launched its special military operation in Ukraine

Twitter's banned account holders knock at Elon Musk's door

Mere hours after Elon Musk kicked off a new era at Twitter Inc, the billionaire owner was deluged with pleas and demands from banned account holders and world leaders.

The flood of requests underscore the challenge the CEO of electric car maker Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) faces, balancing a promise to restore free speech while preventing the platform from descending into a 'hellscape,' as he had vowed in an open letter to advertisers on Thursday.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, who was permanently banned from Twitter over accusations of inciting violence after the Jan. 6, 2021 capitol riots, welcomed the takeover, but said little about a return to Twitter. "I am very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs who truly hate our country."

Dmitry Medvedev, former Russia president and current deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, tweeted his congratulations: "Good luck @elonmusk in overcoming political bias and ideological dictatorship on Twitter. And quit that Starlink in Ukraine business."

Others asked Musk to reverse penalties inflicted by the social media platform. In response to @catturd2, an anonymous account with 852,000 followers, known for being a big supporter of Trump's election fraud claims, and who said it was "shadowbanned," Musk tweeted "I will be digging in more today."

The editor-in-chief of Russian state-controlled broadcaster RT, Margarita Simonyan, asked Musk to "unban RT and Sputnik accounts and take the shadow ban off mine as well?"

The pressure is mounting on Musk and Twitter as he is set to address the Twitter staff on Friday after closing the deal.

"Hey @ElonMusk, now that you own Twitter, will you help fight back against Trudeau's online censorship bill C-11?" tweeted Canada Proud, an organization working to vote out Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

"First I've heard," Musk responded in a tweet on Friday.

DAY ONE

Several employees who spoke with Reuters on Friday said there had been no communication from management about what happens next.

Musk was expected to address employees on Friday, but the employees said they had not received any notice by the late afternoon.

Two sources familiar with the matter said Musk's teams were investigating Twitter's code and asking questions about how aspects of the platform work.

Musk appeared to have joined the company's Slack channel by Friday, according to a screenshot seen by Reuters.

Musk also tweeted on Friday that Twitter will form a "content moderation council with widely diverse viewpoints," and that no major decisions on moderation or account reinstatements will be made before it convenes.

Despite an appeal to advertisers on Thursday that he hoped to make Twitter "the most respected advertising platform in the world," at least one major automaker - GM (GM.N) - said it temporarily paused its advertising and was working to "understand the direction of the platform under their new ownership."

Employees also continued to fret about the future of their jobs. Fewer than 10% of 266 Twitter employees who participated in a poll on messaging app Blind expected to still have their jobs in three months. Blind allows employees to air grievances anonymously after they sign up with corporate emails.

Musk fired Twitter Chief Executive Parag Agrawal, Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde, according to people familiar with the matter. He had accused them of misleading him and Twitter investors over the number of fake accounts on the platform.

Agrawal and Segal were in Twitter's San Francisco headquarters when the deal closed and were escorted out, the sources added.

Musk, who also runs rocket company SpaceX, plans to become Twitter's interim CEO, according to a person familiar with the matter and following an earlier report by Reuters. Musk also plans to scrap permanent bans on users, Bloomberg said, citing a person familiar with the matter.

'CHIEF TWIT'

Before closing the deal, Musk walked into Twitter's headquarters on Wednesday with a big grin and a porcelain sink, subsequently tweeting "let that sink in." He changed his Twitter profile description to "Chief Twit."

European regulators also reiterated past warnings that, under Musk's leadership, Twitter must still abide by the region's Digital Services Act, which levies hefty fines on companies if they do not control illegal content.

"In Europe, the bird will fly by our EU rules," EU industry chief Thierry Breton tweeted on Friday morning.

European Parliament lawmaker and civil rights proponent Patrick Breyer suggested people look for alternatives where privacy is a priority.

"Twitter already knows our personalities dangerously well due to its pervasive surveillance of our every click. Now this knowledge will be falling into Musk's hands."

Musk has indicated he sees Twitter as a foundation for creating a "super app" that offers everything from money transfers to shopping and ride-hailing.

But Twitter is struggling to engage its most active users who are vital to the business. These "heavy tweeters" account for less than 10% of monthly overall users but generate 90% of all tweets and half of global revenue.

Musk will face a challenge building revenue "given that the controversial opinions he appears to want to give more of a free rein to are often unpalatable to advertisers," said Hargreaves Lansdown analyst Susannah Streeter.

As news of the deal spread, some Twitter users were quick to flag their willingness to walk away.

"I will be happy to leave in a heartbeat if Musk, well, acts as we all expect him to," said a user with the @mustlovedogsxo account.

Twitter Ex-Lawyer Reportedly Responsible for Trump Ban and Censorship of Hunter Biden Laptop Story

Gadde, along with Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal, were fired on Thursday after billionaire Elon Musk took ownership of the social media giant, finalizing the $44 billion deal.

Vijaya Gadde's job title at Twitter, where she worked until Musk's arrival, was Legal, Public Policy & Trust and Safety Lead. As the company's content policy chief, she made calls to ban then-outgoing US President Donald Trump from the social platform and to censor the Hunter Biden “laptop from Hell” story, US media reported.

Gadde was responsible for banning the 45th US president in the wake of the January 6, 2021 events, when a mob that included Trump supporters breached the Capitol building in Washington DC in attempt to prevent Congress from certifying Democrat Joe Biden’s victory in the November 2020 US presidential election.

In a conference call on January 8, 2021, Gadde reportedly asked 5,200 Twitter employees to be patient with her legal team as they decided on the future of Trump’s account on the platform.

About three hours later, Trump was banned permanently from Twitter after Gadde and her team were slammed for allowing the then-lame duck president back on the website after an initial 12-hour ban.

Separately, her team censored a story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, which was first published by the New York Post ahead of the 2020 US election. The content of the laptop, including the future First Son’s naked photos and graphic videos, is part of the ongoing federal investigation into whether the POTUS’ son violated US laws when he engaged in financial and business dealings in foreign countries during his father’s vice presidency between 2009 and 2017.

In addition, federal agents are probing Hunter Biden for reportedly obtaining what they claim is “sufficient evidence” to charge the 52-year-old with tax crimes and lying about his drug abuse to buy a gun.

President Joe Biden has repeatedly dismissed any knowledge of his son’s business activities, with most US news outlets and social media companies successfully shielding him from the laptop-related revelations ahead of the 2020 presidential election campaign, when they were coined as part of a “Russian disinformation operation.” Earlier this year, however, the New York Times and The Washington Post made a U-turn, confirming that the laptop was authentic and that the damning information contained within the device was genuine.

US media reports on Gadde come after Trump hailed billionaire Elon Musk’s official takeover of Twitter on Friday, noting that the social media platform was "now in sane hands."

In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump stressed that he was “very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by Radical Left lunatics and maniacs that truly hate our country (the US)”.

"Twitter must now work hard to rid itself of all of the bots and fake accounts that have hurt it so badly. It will be much smaller, but better. I love truth!" the ex-POTUS added.

Apart from Gadde, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal got the boot after the social platform’s ownership went to Musk, who earlier stressed that he is a proponent of free speech, adding that that he bought the network to "help humanity" and to provide a platform for healthy debate, free of violence.

Ribuan Ikan terdampar di Pantai Citepus Palabuhanratu

Beredar sebuah video yang memperlihatkan ribuan ikan terdampar di sebuah pantai. Dalam video itu terlihat warga tak mau melewatkan rezeki nomplok tersebut dan mengambili ikan yang terdampar.

Fenomena alam itu terjadi di Teluk Palabuhanratu, Kabupaten Sukabumi pada hari Jumat malam, 28/10/2022. Warga mendapatkan rezeki nomplok panen ribuan ikan tanpa harus memancing atau pergi ke tengah laut.

Dari video, terdengar suara pria yang beberapa kali menyebut “Fenomena lauk ngampar di Citepus” serta terekam warga berduyun - duyun memanen ikan kecil yang terdampar dalam kondisi masih hidup itu dengan tangan lalu menempatkannya ke dalam ember.

Ketua RT setempat, Ukan Sunaya memaparkan, kejadian dalam video itu terjadi di Pantai Dolphin, Desa Citepus, sekitar Pukul 19.00 WIB. Pada saat itu tingginya gelombang ombak membawa ribuan ikan tersebut ke daratan.

"Betul kejadiannya sekitar habis magrib di pantai Dolphin. Warga rame pada bawa satu ember, ada tamu (pengunjung) juga yang ikutan ngambil itu ikan-ikan kecil, ikan serepet namanya,” ujar Ukan, hari Sabtu, 29/10/2022.

Ukan mengaku, fenomena terdamparnya ikan ke daratan tersebut baru kali ini terjadi. Kebanyakan ikan yang terdampar jenis tembang dan ikan serepet (istilah warga setempat)

Selain di Pantai Dolphin, masih di malam yang sama, kemunculan ribuan ikan ternyata terjadi juga di pantai ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) Citepus. Tak ayal, fenomena ini pun menjadi rezeki untuk sebagian masyarakat yang tinggal di wilayah tersebut.

“Tadi jam 9 (malam), memang benar tadi ini, saya itu dapat satu kresek. Itu pas lagi gelombangnya besar sampai ke depan patok pantai (jogging track), terus ikannya berserakan," ujar Ujang.

Ujang mengaku berhasil memanen ikan yang berserakan sekitar 5 kilogram. Menurutnya, kemunculan ikan yang terbawa ombak kemudian terdampar ke pantai itu terjadi sekitar 20 menit.

Tukang parkir, tukang warung-warung di sini sempat berbondong-bondong. Belum tahu penyebabnya, yang jelas itu pas ombak gede ikannya ke pinggir pantai," tandasnya.

Paul Pelosi, husband of Nancy Pelosi, attacked in San Francisco home

The Washington Post confirmed that a voluminous blog written under DePape’s name and filled with deeply antisemitic writings — as well as pro-Trump and anti-Democratic posts — was registered to a house in Richmond, Calif. where DePape lives, according to neighbors.

In a single day earlier this month, the blog had seven new posts. The titles included: “Balcks Nda jEwS,” “Were the Germans so Stupid?” “Who FINANCED Hitler’s rise to Power” “Gas chamber doors” and “I guess this is as good a time as any.” The latter implored Trump to pick Rep. Tulsi Gabbard as his running mate for 2024.

On Oct. 19, the blog included writings about Kanye West: “Ya I remember the backlash and insults when you came out in support of Trump.”

In five additional posts that day, the blog published antisemitic videos, demeaning caricatures of Jews and expressed disbelief in the Holocaust. Two days ago, it was back at politics. A video was posted about the Steele dossier, and comments were made when the video was removed by YouTube.

The site was registered to an address in Richmond, Calif., about 16 miles from Pelosi’s home. Neighbors there said they knew DePape, and a recent post contained contact information for someone close to DePape. Reached using a phone number published on the blog, the person declined to comment.

San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said at a news conference that police responded at 2:27 a.m. Friday to a break-in at the Pelosi home. They found the assailant, who grabbed a hammer from Pelosi and attacked him in front of police. Police arrested DePape and he will be charged with attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse and burglary, according to Scott. DePape also was taken to a hospital.

Scott said the 911 dispatcher who responded to Pelosi’s call sensed the situation was serious and gave it higher priority. “This was a well-being check and she just knew there was more to it. So she alerted — she went that extra step — and because of it, she dispatched it at a higher priority than this type of call normally is and that led to a quicker response,” he said at a briefing Friday evening.

Nancy Pelosi, who has been fundraising and campaigning with Democrats around the country ahead of the midterm elections, was in Washington at the time, according to U.S. Capitol Police.

The speaker, who is second in line to the presidency, has a security detail provided by Capitol Police. Paul Pelosi, however, doesn’t receive protection from Capitol Police or any other government entity when he is not with the speaker, according to three people familiar with the security protocol.

“The Speaker and her family are grateful to the first responders and medical professionals involved, and request privacy at this time,” Drew Hammill, a spokesman, said.

Capitol Police in a statement said it was assisting the FBI and San Francisco police in investigating the break-in and attack. “Special Agents with the USCP’s California Field Office quickly arrived on scene, while a team of investigators from the Department’s Threat Assessment Section was simultaneously dispatched from the East Coast to assist the FBI and the San Francisco Police with a joint investigation,” the statement said.

The speaker, who had been in Zagreb, Croatia, earlier this week for a forum on Crimea and in Washington on Tuesday to meet with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, was in San Francisco on Wednesday morning for an event at the Golden Gate Bridge before returning to Washington.

On Friday afternoon, police had roped off the entire block around the Pelosis’ red-brick home with caution tape as TV reporters stood outside, filing their reports from the corner. The Pelosis live in Pacific Heights, a quiet, hilly neighborhood full of multimillion-dollar homes boasting majestic views of downtown and the San Francisco Bay. Many homes have security cameras and tall fences fortifying them. Several neighbors declined to comment on the day’s happenings.

Congress approved a $2.1 billion emergency security supplemental in July 2021 that largely went to beefing up security on Capitol Hill, making security improvements, and helping maintain police officers. In May 2021, Capitol Police reported that threats against lawmakers had increased by 107 percent since Jan. 6 compared to the prior year.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), who was recently threatened at her home, said Speaker Pelosi has been “very sympathetic to the need to get additional security for members.”

“She really recognizes the changed threat to members in this environment and particularly after Jan. 6,” Jayapal said, referring to the 2021 attack on the Capitol.

Jayapal added that the need for security for family members “has been an ongoing concern” because they don’t receive protection from Capitol Police, and that it has been a challenge because such arrangements must be approved in the appropriations process by both parties.

President Biden spoke to Nancy Pelosi to “express his support after this horrible attack,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement.

“The President is praying for Paul Pelosi and for Speaker Pelosi’s whole family,” Jean-Pierre said. “He is also very glad that a full recovery is expected. The President continues to condemn all violence, and asks that the family’s desire for privacy be respected.”

Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) said in a statement that he conveyed his concerns in a call with the speaker, describing the attack as a “dastardly act.”

Other congressional leaders also expressed their shock and outrage while wishing Paul Pelosi a speedy recovery. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) tweeted, “Horrified and disgusted by the reports that Paul Pelosi was assaulted in his and Speaker Pelosi’s home last night.”

Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), the No. 2 Republican in the House, echoed those comments in his own tweet, writing: “Disgusted to hear about the horrific assault on Speaker Pelosi’s husband Paul. Grateful for law enforcement’s actions to respond,” Scalise said. “Let’s be clear: Violence has no place in this country. I’m praying for Paul Pelosi’s full recovery.”

Scalise was gravely wounded in 2017 when a gunman opened fire as Republicans were practicing for the Congressional Baseball Game.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) says he contacted the speaker, per a statement from his spokesman, Mark Bednar. “Leader McCarthy reached out to the Speaker to check in on Paul and said he’s praying for a full recovery and is thankful they caught the assailant,” the statement said.

But not every politician focused solely on the violent attack and Paul Pelosi’s health.

Campaigning with Virginia GOP House candidate Yesli Vega, Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) condemned the violence but then suggested that Republican voters would send the House speaker back home to be with her husband.

Later, in a statement to The Post, a spokeswoman for Youngkin, who has been floated as a potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate and has campaigned across the country for Republican candidates in the midterms, said the governor wishes Paul Pelosi “a full recovery and is keeping the Pelosi family in his prayers.”

Decades-long marriage

Paul Pelosi owns Financial Leasing Services, a San Francisco-based real estate and venture capital investment and consulting firm. He met his wife while studying at Georgetown University. She was a student at Trinity College at the time. The Pelosis have been married for 59 years and have five children.

He was in the news in August when he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence and causing injury stemming from a May car crash in Northern California.

In 2021, the Pelosi home in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood was spray-painted and a pig’s head was left on the sidewalk in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day. The incident was apparently in criticism of Congress over insufficient coronavirus pandemic relief.

Keputusan tersebut terkait erat dengan tragedi Kanjuruhan, yakni tewasnya 135 suporter dan polisi saat kericuhan di Stadion Kanjuruhan, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur, 1 Oktober 2022 lalu.

Crazy rich dari Malang ini mengatakan bahwa pengunduran diri tersebut dikarenakan ia merasakan kesedihan cukup mendalam atas tragedi Kanjuruhan tersebut. "Per hari ini saya mundur dari Presiden Arema FC. Saya sangat merasakan kesedihan," kata Gilang dalam jumpa pers di Kota Malang, Jawa Timur, Sabtu, 29/10/2022.

Gilang menjelaskan, meskipun saat ini ia tidak lagi berada di Arema FC, tanggung jawab moral, termasuk tanggung jawab kepada korban tragedi Kanjuruhan akan tetap dipenuhi oleh pria kelahiran Probolinggo, Jawa Timur tersebut.

Menurutnya, keputusan untuk mundur dari posisi presiden klub Arema FC tersebut juga tidak ada kaitannya dengan pemeriksaan yang dilakukan oleh Polda Jawa Timur, terkait tragedi Kanjuruhan beberapa waktu lalu.

"Saya izin pamit undur diri. Tidak ada kaitannya dengan pemeriksaan di Polda Jatim. Untuk pemeriksaan saya di Polda, saya tetap siap dan kooperatif," kata pria yang akrab dipanggil Juragan99 itu.

Ia menambahkan, langkah pengunduran diri tersebut murni dikarenakan rasa kesedihan mendalam akibat tragedi yang terjadi di Stadion Kanjuruhan tersebut dan bukan dikarenakan ada tekanan dari pihak mana pun.

"Pengunduran diri tidak ada tekanan dari pihak mana pun. Meskipun per hari ini saya tidak berada lagi di Arema FC, tapi tanggung jawab moral dan tanggung jawab saya kepada korban, saya siap bertanggung jawab," katanya menegaskan

Terkait dengan kepemilikan saham di Arema FC, lanjutnya, hal tersebut merupakan bentuk kecintaan Gilang terhadap Arema FC. Ia mengatakan bahwa pada saat masuk sebagai investor, ia mendapatkan porsi saham dari Arema FC.

"Untuk ke depan seperti apa, akan dibicarakan ulang. Yang pasti saham itu adalah bentuk kecintaan saya kepada Arema FC," katanya.

Gilang menjabat sebagai presiden klub Arema FC sejak 7 Juni 2022. Direksi Arema FC Iwan Budianto saat itu menyatakan bahwa ditunjuknya Gilang sebagai presiden klub menjadi salah satu sejarah bagi tim kebanggaan warga Malang Raya tersebut.

Saat itu Gilang bersepakat untuk membesarkan tim berjuluk Singo Edan dan memberikan prestasi terbaik di Liga 1 Indonesia. Gilang sedianya menjadi Presiden Klub Arema FC selama tiga tahun ke depan.

Dalam salah satu unggahannya di media sosial, Gilang mengungkapkan bahwa dalam hidup selalu ada masa-masa senang dan ada juga masa-masa kelam. Berduka dan meratapi kesedihan, itu seharusnya. Apalagi kalau menyangkut orang-orang yang kita cintai.

Sejak hari pertama sampai hari ini, saya dalam kapasitas pribadi berusaha membantu sekuat tenaga, pikiran dan dana untuk para korban tragedi Kanjuruhan dan keluarganya. Semua saya lakukan karena keprihatinan luar bisa melihat banyaknya korban yang tidak seharusnya terjadi.

Beberapa orang menganggap saya tidak peduli dengan tragedi Kanjuruhan, menuduh saya tidak berduka hanya karena saya masih melanjutkan bisnis dan pekerjaan saya. Perlu dipahami bahwa menjadi Presiden Arema FC merupakan pilihan pribadi. Saya adalah Aremania dan sepak bola adalah passion saya. Tetapi, saya juga memiliki bisnis-bisnis yang harus terus saya kelola. Dari bisnis itulah saya bisa mendukung Arema FC, meningkatkan fasilitas dan kesejahteraan pemain. Perlu dipahami, tidak ada keuntungan financial dari Arema yang saya nikmati.

Ada juga yang menuntut saya untuk mengusut tuntas apa yang terjadi. Pernyataan saya sudah tegas, saya mendukung segala upaya untuk mengusut tuntas tragedi Kanjuruhan. Sudah ada TGIPF, sudah ada proses hukum yang sedang berjalan. Saya juga ingin tragedi ini menjadi terang benderang sehingga bisa menjadi pembelajaran bagi dunia persepakbolaan. Saya juga mendukung penuh semua proses transformasi dan perbaikan sepak bola nasional agar ke depan sepak bola Indonesia menjadi lebih baik.

Tragedi Kanjuruhan adalah lembaran kelam bagi Arema FC dan Aremania. Kita semua berduka, saya berduka. Mari kita jadikan pelajaran agar tidak ada lagi nyawa yang hilang karena sepakbola.
