Russia will move only forward, choosing its own path, but without isolating itself from other countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

Speaking at a technology conference titled "Computation and Communication. The Quantum World," the president said that Russia’s adversaries had hoped the country would retreat and give up, but "that’s not how it will be."

"Russia will move only forward, choosing its own path, but at the same time without isolating itself from anyone," Putin stated.

The president said that the country responds to external challenges by strengthening the quality and efficiency of work and spreading freedom. He said that a similar situation occurred in 2014, "when the first wave of external sanctions became a stimulus for rapid development in some areas, including agriculture."

"Today, similar positive processes are gaining momentum in industry and in the technological realm. At the same time, we understand that in the current conditions the main thing for definitive development is to focus on priority tasks," the president said.

He listed these tasks: First, to focus on areas where Russia already possesses global-level technologies and products, for example, in nuclear energy, artificial intelligence and many other areas. Secondly, according to the head of state, it is worth focusing on those areas that are critical for the country's development, and where Russia must have its own expertise.

"We should have not only research and basic solutions, but also the entire technological and production chain, our own equipment, hardware components, software and, of course, people, or human resources," Putin said.

Putin: Ukraine in NATO Will Create Threat for Russia, Won't Increase Own Security

Zelensky said in early June that Kiev hoped to receive a clear invitation to join the bloc at the Vilnius summit. He also said Kiev was disappointed that it had not yet received a clear positive response about joining both the European Union and NATO.

Ukraine’s possible membership in NATO will create a security threat for Russia and will not increase Ukraine's own security situation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.

"As for Ukraine's membership in NATO, we have repeatedly spoken about this, this creates threats to Russia's security. Obviously. And as a matter of fact, the reason for the special military operation, one of the reasons, is the threat of Ukraine's entry into NATO. I am sure that this will not increase the security of Ukraine itself," Putin said.

Ukraine has a right to have security guarantees but they should not create security threats to other nations, the Russian president highlighted. At the same time, Putin mentioned that Russia is not against discussing security guarantees for Ukraine.

"Now about security. We have said many times that any country has the right to ensure its security. And of course, it has the right to choose the way to achieve this goal, which it considers the most correct for itself. There is only one limitation. It is connected with the fact that achieving the security of one country should not create a threat to another country," Putin said.

On June 13 it was reported that NATO leaders urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to "cool down" during their joint dinner in Vilnius after he voiced harsh criticism of the alliance and accused it of being indecisive when it came to Kiev's membership. In particular, Zelensky said that it was "unprecedented and absurd" that a time frame was set "neither for the invitation nor for Ukraine's membership."

Later, during the dinner on the sidelines of the NATO summit, Zelensky was told that he had gone too far and advised to look at the full package of NATO commitments to Kiev, a person present at the dinner was cited as saying by US media.

According to the source, the US delegation was "irritated" by Zelensky's comments, UK representatives were looking for ways to alleviate tensions, while the Germans were trying to find alternatives to resolve the situation.

Speaking about Western missiles and tanks supplied to Ukraine, Putin noted that they cause damage but do not pose a critical threat in the combat zone.

“As for the supply of weapons, various weapons, we see how many hopes were placed on the supply of missiles with a sufficiently long range. Well, yes, they cause damage, but nothing critical happens in the combat zone with the use of missiles. The same goes for foreign-made tanks, infantry fighting vehicles,” Putin said on air at the Rossiya 24 broadcaster.

The president added that 311 pieces of military equipment used by Ukraine has been destroyed since June 4, and at least one third of those were Western-made.

“I can tell you that Ukrainian servicemen often refuse to even get into these tanks, because they are a priority target for our guys,” Putin said, adding that foreign tanks “burn better” than the Soviet-made ones.

Russia May Suspend Participation in Grain Deal Before Conditions Fulfilled

Moscow is considering an option of suspending participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative until conditions that concern Russia are fulfilled, President Putin said.

He told reporters that "nothing was done" for Russia within the framework of the grain deal, as the agreement benefited only the other side.

“We may suspend our participation in this deal. If everyone once again says that all the promises made to us will be fulfilled, well, let them fulfill this promise, and we will immediately join this deal, again,” Putin said.

The president also said that Russia will think about the extension of the grain deal as "there are still few days left" before the July 17 deadline.

Russia, Ukraine, Turkiye and the United Nations reached an agreement on July 22, 2022, to provide a safe humanitarian maritime corridor for vessels carrying food and fertilizer exports from Black Sea ports.

Russia has criticized the implementation of the agreement, saying the majority of the exports ended up in the countries of the collective West and only a small amount in the Global South. In addition, Russia has complained the agreement was not implemented fully since Western sanctions against Russia were not removed for exports of Russian grain and fertilizer.

On May 18, 2023, Russia extended the agreement for an additional 60 days until July 17. However, Moscow has repeatedly warned it will not extend the agreement if not implemented in full.

Moscow has high hopes for the further development of cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told journalists on Thursday.

According to him, Russia and these unions have increasingly more spheres of dovetailing interests. Lavrov pointed out that interaction had been established between the secretariats of all three structures enshrined in relevant memoranda, with the aim that "in practice, each of these organizations will consider the possibility of consolidating efforts with its partners."

"This reflects our strategic aspiration to facilitate the shaping of the Greater Eurasian Partnership not through some artificially formulated arrangements but proceeding from real life, from those practical projects that are being implemented on the ground both in the EAEU, and the SCO, and ASEAN," the top Russian diplomat said. "We have more and more spheres of coinciding interests and plans so here I am looking at further development with optimism," he explained.

"That said, I would like to stress that our vision of the Greater Eurasian Partnership is not limited to some separate structures but is rather an invitation to cooperation to all organizations and countries bar none located on our huge shared Eurasian continent," Lavrov added.

Russia Ready to Agree to Southeast Asia Nuclear-Free Zone If All Respect Treaty

Russia is ready to agree to the creation of a nuclear-free zone in Southeast Asia, provided that all participants comply with the requirements of the Treaty of Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday.

Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said on Monday that the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will ask Russia and other nuclear powers at the ministerial meetings to join the Treaty of Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone.

"We are not talking about Russia's accession to the treaty, but about a protocol to it, which invites nuclear powers to sign this protocol, thereby providing assurances to the parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Southeast Asia... We are ready to put a signature together with other countries, permanent members of the [UN] Security Council, with one reservation ... on the condition that all parties to the treaty comply with its requirements: not to possess, develop or host any nuclear weapons elements," Lavrov told reporters on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) foreign ministers meeting in Indonesia's Jakarta.

Japan May Host US Nukes

Japan is sending signals that it does not mind deploying the US's nuclear weapons, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said on Wednesday that the security of Europe and the Indo-Pacific region is "inseparable," adding that Japan and NATO, which "share core values and strategic interests," are deepening their ties.

"NATO is pursuing the thesis that security in the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific region, as they call it, is indivisible. It is planned to move parts of NATO's military infrastructure to this region ... Japan and [South] Korea, by the way, are already signaling that they would not mind hosting American nuclear weapons or having their own. This is a very serious and dangerous trend," Lavrov stressed.

Russia, China planning major high-level contacts in second half of year — Chinese diplomat

Russia and China are planning for major high-level contacts in the second half of this year, Wang Yi, director of the Foreign Affairs Commission Office of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee, said on Thursday.

"A number of important high-level contacts are expected in the second half of the year. It is important for us to coordinate well, to strengthen our bilateral and multilateral interaction, and to put into practice the goals set by our leaders for the development of our relations," Wang said at talks in Jakarta with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of ministerial-level events under the aegis of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

At the start of the meeting, he once again mentioned the success of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia in March. "Against the background of tectonic changes occurring around the world, we consistently adhere to the critical consensus between our respective heads of state, firmly supporting each other in protecting [our countries’] vital interests, and following the path of peaceful development, good-neighborliness and mutual benefit, as well as promoting a multipolar world order and the democratization of relations. We are satisfied with the trend in the development of our relations and strongly believe in the bright prospects" for their future development, the senior diplomat emphasized.

"China and Russia are ASEAN partners. Strengthening our cooperation in ASEAN helps to bring our positions into closer alignment, and to advance multifaceted forms of cooperation that can defend the ASEAN-centric system as well as the structure of cooperation with this association," Wang stressed.

"Dia kita bebas tugaskan.

Ia berharap masyarakat ikut melapor jika menemukan hal serupa.

"Makanya kita ambil tindakan tegas, jadi kita langsung Plh. Kita langsung tarik dulu, kita pindah dulu.

Ganjar pun menegaskan kepala sekolah SMKN 1 Sale sama saja mencari masalah dengannya jika nekat melakukan pungli.
