The North Atlantic Alliance has already suffered a defeat in Ukraine, associated with the collapse of the Western project to turn Ukraine into "anti-Russia", Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said in an interview with TASS.

"NATO has already been defeated in Ukraine. This defeat is connected with the collapse of the project of turning Ukraine into ‘anti-Russia’,"Grushko said.


On October 11, before a meeting of defense ministers of the countries of the alliance, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Russia’s victory in the conflict in Ukraine would mean a defeat for NATO, noting that the alliance should not allow it.

Russia is concerned about the aggravation of the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, nobody needs a new conflict in Europe, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said in an interview with TASS.


"We have always proceeded from the premise that it is necessary to stop all geopolitical games in this region, to let the states choose their own fate. In this sense, of course, Bosnia and Herzegovina is in a rather vulnerable position, and this worries us, because no one needs another conflict in the central Europe," he said.


"We are closely following the development of the situation, we hope that the current crisis will be over as soon as possible in accordance with the constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the diplomat added.

Russian MoD Holds Briefing on Special Military Operation in Ukraine



Russia’s MoD briefing on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine:


  • Russian forces eliminated up to 50 Ukrainian service personnel, as well as destroyed two tanks, five armored combat vehicles, three motor vehicles and a field munitions depot in the Kharkov region


  • Russian forces eliminated more than 30 Ukrainian service personnel, four armored vehicles and two pickups near Dvurechnoye


  • Russian forces eliminated up to 60 Ukrainian service personnel, as well as destroyed two armored vehicles and seven pickup trucks in the LPR and in the DPR


  • Russian forces eliminated more than 50 Ukrainian service personnel, as well as destroyed five fast boats, two barges, five tanks and four infantry combat vehicles in the Kherson region


  • Russian forces performed high-precision attacks on the provisional base of the Ukrainian Second Battalion from the 65th Mechanized Brigade in the Zaporozhye region, eliminating more than 160 Ukrainian service personnel


  • Russian forces eliminated about 120 Ukrainian service personnel, 17 armored combat vehicles and eight motor vehicle, as well as five Ukrainian ferries near Dudchany


  • Russian forces destroyed five Ukrainian missile, artillery armament and munitions depots in the DPR, Kharkov and Kherson regions


  • Russian forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft in the Nikolayev region


  • Russian air defense destroyed ten Ukrainian UAVs, as well as intercepted 18 HIMARS and Olkha rockets


First Trains With Russian Troops for Joint Regional Group Arrive in Belarus



On Monday, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that Minsk and Moscow agreed on deploying a joint military group "in connection with the aggravation of the situation on the western borders of the Union State."


"The first echelons with Russian soldiers who are part of the regional grouping of troops (forces) arrived in the Republic of Belarus," the ministry said.


The ministry added that the decision to create a joint regional military group was dictated solely by the need to strengthen the security of the state border of the Union State on the territory of Belarus.
