Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold an operational meeting with permanent members of the Security Council next week, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS on Sunday.







"Yes. There are such plans. We are talking about a regular operational meeting," he said in reply to a corresponding question.


According to the ‘Moscow. Kremlin. Putin’ program on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, the president will also hold a meeting with the government next week. In addition, the president plans to hold a meeting of the organizing committee ‘Victory’.


This is an advisory and consultative body to the president, established in 2000 for a unified state policy in respect of veterans and the patriotic education of Russians.



Lavrov arrives in Bali to attend G20 summit



Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in the Indonesian island of Bali on Sunday to participate in the G20 summit, a TASS correspondent reported.







The Russian top diplomat arrived in Indonesia from Cambodia, where he took part in the East Asia Summit.


The G20 summit will be held in Bali on November 15 to 16. Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the meeting. Lavrov will head the Russian delegation.
