Western Countries Attempted to Politicize Final G20 Declaration, Lavrov Says

G20 (Group of 20) adalah forum antar pemerintah ekonomi paling maju, yang terdiri dari 19 negara dan Uni Eropa. Kelompok ini menyumbang 85% dari PDB global, 75% dari perdagangan internasional dan dua pertiga dari populasi dunia.

Key statements made by Russia’s FM Lavrov at the G20 press conference:

• Despite US statements at the G20 meeting, other countries are increasingly convinced that the conflict in Ukraine was provoked by Washington;



• Ukraine's demands are inadequate;



• The US and the EU handed over written promises to the UN Secretary General that restrictions on the export of Russian grain and fertilizers would be lifted;



• From Zelensky's speech at the G20 it follows that he does not listen to any advice from the West on negotiations with Russia;



• Moscow wants to see concrete evidence that the West is seriously interested in disciplining Zelensky and explaining to him that this cannot continue, that it is not in the interests of the Ukrainian people or himself;



• The longer Ukraine refuses to negotiate, the more difficult it will be to agree;



• Lavrov dismissed talk that the United States is preparing negotiations on Ukraine as rumors.

Latest statements by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov:

• Moscow considers resolution on payment of reparations to Ukraine to be an attempt of robbery via un platform;



• Russia against UN resolution on payment of reparations to Ukraine, will treat it as legally non-binding document;



• Russia will do everything possible to return the seized assets, taking into account the raider methods of their seizure;



• Kremlin on Russia's allies that did not vote for UN reparations resolution: these are sovereign states, we follow their stance on various issues;



• Ukraine cannot and does not want to negotiate, the special operation will continue.

Russian MoD’s briefing on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine:

• Russian Forces completely liberated the Pavlovka settlement in the DPR;



• Russian Forces destroyed six Ukrainian artillery weapons, eight Ukrainian UAVs and more than 25 other vehicles in the DPR;



• Russian Forces eliminated up to 100 Ukrainian servicemen, as well as destroyed eight Ukrainian tanks, three infantry combat vehicles, five armored carriers and six other vehicles in the LPR;



• Russian Forces eliminated up to 90 Ukrainian servicemen, as well as destroyed a Ukrainian tank, four armored combat vehicles and five pick-up trucks near Krasny Liman;



• Russian Air Forces hit six Ukrainian command posts and 82 Ukrainian artillery units at their firing positions;



• The Russian Air Defense destroyed seven Ukrainian UAVs, as well as intercepted three HIMARS rockets.
