Dozens killed as Palestinians flee Terrorists Israel's new offensive on Khan Younis

Israel Terrorists sent tanks back into the greater Khan Younis area after ordering evacuations of some districts it said had been used for renewed attacks by militants and at least 70 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire, Gaza medics said on Monday.

At least 70 Palestinians have been killed and more than 200 wounded in Terrorists Israel’s latest assault on the Khan Younis area in southern Gaza as Palestinians fleeing Israeli Terrorist tank shelling and air strikes have described the situation as “doomsday”.

“Due to the Israeli occupation’s attacks and massacres in Khan Yunis governorate from the early hours of this morning until now, 70 people have been martyred and more than 200 wounded,” Gaza’s Ministry of Health said in a statement on Monday, adding that the dead included women and children.

The Palestinians were killed by tank salvoes in the town of Bani Suhaila and other towns fringing the eastern side of Khan Younis, with the area also bombarded from the air, they said.

Residents of the densely built-up area of southern Gaza said the tanks advanced for more than two kilometres (1.2 miles) into Bani Suhaila, forcing residents to flee under fire.

"It is like doomsday," one resident, who only identified himself as Abu Khaled said. "People are fleeing under fire, many are dead and wounded on the roads."

The Gaza health ministry said the dead included several women and children and that at least 200 other people had been wounded. The Gaza ministry does not distinguish between militants and civilians in its death tallies.

Around 400,000 people were living in the targeted areas and dozens of families had begun to leave their houses, Palestinian officials said, adding they were not given time to get out of harm's way before the Israeli strikes began.

Some families fled on donkey carts, others on foot, carrying mattresses and other belongings.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said two of its clinics located in eastern Khan Younis had been knocked out of operation because of the new offensive.

Palestinians displaced

Earlier on Monday, the Israeli military ordered Palestinians in al-Mawasi, which is located along the Gaza coast between the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah, to leave.

Israel justified its new operation there, saying Palestinian fighters have been using the area to launch attacks on Israeli forces. In a statement, it urged people to relocate from eastern Khan Younis to the west of the “adjusted humanitarian area of al-Mawasi”.

However, many Palestinians are hesitant to join the swelling tent camps in al-Mawasi, declared a humanitarian zone in May, after a recent attack on the area killed at least 92 people and wounded more than 300, according to figures from the Health Ministry. That attack caused global outrage.

rating in the eastern areas of Khan Younis city”, where the population “has returned to live in the remnants of their destroyed houses – and, again, the military has announced that they are starting a new incursion”.

“But that happened in a very short period of time, and they started to bombard residential houses. People were inside. Later, the military started to drop leaflets [to order an evacuation] in the eastern areas of Khan Younis,” he said.

Some families fled on donkey carts and others on foot, carrying mattresses and other belongings.

Palestinians, the United Nations and international relief agencies have said there is no safe place left in Gaza.

Hospitals overwhelmed

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said two of its clinics located in eastern Khan Younis had been knocked out of operation because of the new Israeli offensive.

At Nasser Medical Complex, some people stood outside the morgue to bid farewell to dead relatives.

“We are tired. We are tired in Gaza. Every day our children are martyred – every day, every moment,” Ahmed Sammour, who lost several relatives in bombings of eastern Khan Younis, told Reuters.

“No one told us to evacuate. They brought four floors crashing down on civilians, … and the bodies they could reach, they brought to the refrigerator [morgue],” Sammour added.

Hamas denounced the attack, stating that it would not deter Palestinians from remaining “steadfast in their land”.

“We call upon the international community and the United Nations to urgently intervene to stop the systematic Zionist killing of our people, who are facing a genocide,” the group said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

At least 39,006 people have been killed and 89,818 injured since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October.

The death toll in Israel from Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is estimated at 1,139, and dozens of people are still being held captive in Gaza.

US-made HIMARS launcher get destroyed in Ukraine - Video

The Russian Defense Ministry has shared footage purporting to show the destruction of another US-supplied Ukrainian HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system in a ballistic missile strike.

The system was discovered by a surveillance drone and was tracked to a hangar in the village of Novopetrovka, in Ukraine’s Nikolayev Region. The location was hit by a ballistic missile fired by an Iskander-M system, the Russian military reported on Monday, adding that the HIMARS and its crew had been destroyed.

Drone footage of the strike showed the hangar being obliterated, with a secondary detonation, presumably in the launcher’s ammo stock, observed at the site.

The Russian military has consistently hunted high-value Ukrainian assets, including from the HIMARS family. Over the past few weeks, multiple launchers of this type have reportedly been destroyed, with some of the strikes captured in drone footage released by the Russian Defense Ministry.

HIMARS launchers have been long touted by Kiev as an ultimate long-range, high-precision weapon to strike Russian high-value assets such as command points or ammo stockpiles. However, Moscow has accused Ukraine of routinely using the systems to launch indiscriminate attacks on Russian territory, including on civilian targets.

Scott Ritter: Biden's Election Withdrawal Shows Who is Actually Running America

The timing of Joe Biden’s sudden withdrawal from the presidential race raises questions, argues former US Marine Corps intelligence officer and ex-weapons inspector Scott Ritter.

“There's no doubt that Joe Biden is unfit to be president of the United States. No doubt. But here's the question. If he's unfit to run as the candidate of the Democratic Party, why did they put him up?” former US Marine Corps intelligence officer and ex-weapons inspector Scott Ritter said, noting that signs of Biden’s frailty were visible during the G7 summit in Italy last month.

According to him, the fact that Biden is unfit to be the POTUS but was still allowed to “function” begets the question: who is really in charge in the United States?

“Who's running America? Because it's not Joe Biden. We don't know who. It's an unelected group of handlers who are drawn from what I guess we can call the establishment. Some people might refer to it as the deep state. And these are the people who are calling the shots,” Ritter stated, noting that “the critical decisions of governance” this group makes are made “for the American people, but not necessarily on behalf of the American people.”

He describes the 2024 presidential election in the US as “a test of American democracy” and a “contest between established elites that are found in the Democratic Party and this surge of populism in the form of Donald Trump who is taking control of the Republican Party.”

Yet while Americans are normally allowed to “have a say in the outcome” of this process, the Democratic Party and the “elites known and unknown” now opted to meddle in this process and “will be selecting who their candidate will be for the presidency in the 2024 elections,” which is “not the way it's supposed to be,” he noted.

“America is in a crisis, a crisis of democracy, a crisis of identity. And it doesn't look like we have a solution because for the most part, the American people have been confused and misled and manipulated by the mainstream media into somehow thinking that this is normal,” Ritter lamented.

The Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 620 soldiers in battles with Russia's Battlegroup Yug in the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) said on Monday.

"The enemy lost up to 620 servicepeople, two US-made M113 armored personnel carriers and five vehicles," the ministry said in a statement, adding that the group has also repelled two attacks by Ukrainian troops.

Ukraine also lost up to 520 soldiers and a Leopard tank in battles with Russia’s Battlegroup Zapad, the ministry said, adding that the group repelled two counterattacks.

Russia's Battlegroup Tsentr repelled six Ukrainian counterattacks and Kiev lost up to 335 soldiers in this area, the ministry said, adding that Kiev lost up to 270 soldiers in battles with Russia's Battlegroup Sever.

Additionally, Kiev lost up to 110 soldiers in battles with Russia's Battlegroup Vostok, the ministry said.

WATCH Two Ukrainian military trains hit in missile strike

Two Ukrainian military trains, carrying dozens of pieces of hardware, have been destroyed in a ballistic missile strike, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Sunday, sharing drone footage of the attack.

The trains, carrying equipment and personnel of the 41st mechanized brigade, were discovered at a railway station near the town of Barvenkovo, located near the border between Ukraine’s Kharkov Region and Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic. Each train consisted of at least 20 flatbed cars, the ministry said.

Infrared footage captured by a surveillance drone shows a ballistic missile fired by an Iskander-M launcher striking the station, with multiple fires observed on the ground after the hit. The strike was closely followed by another one, with a missile striking the second train, footage shows.

According to the military’s estimates, there were more than 60 pieces of military hardware, including 14 US-made International MaxxPro mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAPs) and ten Canadian-made Roshel Senator armored personnel carriers (APCs), as well as other armored and soft vehicles. Up to 240 Ukrainian servicemen were killed or injured in the strike.

In recent weeks, the Russian military has repeatedly targeted Ukrainian forces in redeployment, striking military trains and road convoys, inflicting heavy casualties and damage on Kiev’s forces.

WATCH Russian kamikaze drone destroy US-made howitzer

A Russian Lancet kamikaze drone appears to have successfully destroyed a US-made M777 howitzer supplied to Ukraine, according to a video published on social media.

The short clip, filmed from a drone, emerged on Telegram on Sunday. The caption claims the Russian army’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) took out the American-made piece of artillery in Ukraine’s Kharkov Region.

The clip shows a target hidden in trees being hit by the kamikaze drone, causing a large explosion and fire. Two persons – allegedly Ukrainian servicemen who operated the howitzer – are seen running from the site of the attack.

It’s not clear when exactly the strike took place. Russia’s Ministry of Defense has so far not commented on the matter.

On Thursday, the Russian military published footage of a Lancet strike on a US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer hit at its firing position in formerly-Ukrainian Kherson Region. Another clip posted online shows a Lancet strike on a Plastun electronic warfare support station.

Amid the ongoing conflict, the Russian military has been actively using the loitering munitions against Kiev’s forces. Lancet has become one of the key medium-reach tools, primarily used to counter Ukrainian towed and self-propelled artillery, as well as certain high-value assets, such as short-range anti-aircraft systems or artillery radars.

The Israeli terrorists killed 64 more Palestinians in attacks in the Gaza Strip, taking the overall death toll to 38,983 since Oct. 7, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Sunday.

Health Ministry says at least 64 people killed and 105 injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza in past 24 hours. Many victims are still under rubble and on roads, with civil defence crews not able to reach them, it adds.

In Yemen, at least three people killed and 87 wounded in Israeli air attacks that hit an oil storage facility and power plant in Hodeidah port city, officials say. Israeli raids also cause injuries in southern Lebanon.

Attacks come as countries call for an end to Israel terrorists’s occupation of Palestinian territory following a “landmark” International Court of Justice ruling.

A ministry statement added that some 89,727 others have been injured in the assault.

“Israeli forces killed 64 people and injured 105 others in four ‘massacres’ against families in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said.

“Many people are still trapped under rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

Flouting a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire, Israel has faced international condemnation amid its continued brutal offensive on Gaza since an Oct. 7, 2023 attack by Palestinian group Hamas.

0645 GMT — Houthis claim strikes on southern Israel, US ship

Yemen's Houthis have said that they carried out strikes targeting southern Israel Terrorists and a US ship in the Red Sea.

"Our naval operations will not stop unless the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip stops," Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a televised speech.

Saree claimed that the group launched an attack targeting "vital areas in Eilat, southern Israel with ballistic missiles, achieving direct hit."

He stated that they also hit the US vessel in the Red Sea with ballistic missiles and drones.

There was no immediate comment from Israel or the US regarding the Houthi claims. This came after Israeli air strikes targeting fuel tanks and a power station in the western Yemeni port city of Al Hudaydah, which killed three people and injured 87 others.

Settlers perform Talmudic rituals in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound: Report

Illegal Israeli settlers have performed a Talmudic ritual in the compound of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem’s Old City under the protection of Israeli police, according to the Wafa news agency.

Witnesses reported that the settlers carried out provocative tours in groups while Israeli forces imposed restrictions on Muslim worshippers entering, Wafa said.

Under the status quo affirmed in 1967, only Muslims can pray within al-Haram al-Sharif, also known as Al-Aqsa Mosque. Non-Muslims can visit the site but cannot pray; this includes performing Talmudic rituals.

Donbass push, logistics strikes, and heavy winged bombs - Video is The week in the Russia Ukraine conflict

A Russian Su-34 jet deploys a FAB-3000 high-explosive bomb.

The past week in the Russia-Ukraine conflict has been marked by hostilities at multiple locations along the front line, with the Russian military reporting new advances in Donbass. Russian forces have also continued to hunt for high value assets in Ukraine’s rear, striking troops and hardware in redeployment.

On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of Urozhaynoye, a large village located in the southwest of Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

The village has seen active combat over the past few months, with the location becoming one of the few settlements seized by Kiev during its long-hyped but ultimately disastrous counteroffensive of last summer. The village has sustained extensive damage over the months of fighting, drone footage showing Russian troops hoisting the country’s flag at local administrative building indicates.

On Friday, the Defense Ministry said Russian troops seized control of Yuryevka, a small village located to the west of the town of Gorlovka, DPR. The development apparently signals the country’s forces are expanding their zone of control after breaking through Ukrainian defenses in the area last week, when the troops reportedly entered the village of New York (also known as Novgorodskoye) to the northeast of Yuryevka.

The country’s military also continues its westward push near Ovheretino, once a key logistics and railway hub for Kiev’s forces, which was liberated by Russia in April. On Friday, Russian military journalist Marat Khairullin reported that the troops made a swift advance on the village of Progress, located 7km further to the west along the railway line, and took control of part of it. The reporter shared drone footage from the location, purporting to show Russian storm troops in the village.

The village of Progress is one of the few locations in the ‘Poroshenko line’ which still remains under Ukrainian control. The defensive line was built in the Ukrainian-controlled part of Donbass in 2015-17 under then-President Pyotr Poroshenko and included a vast network of concrete bunkers, tunnels, and other fortifications.

Logistics strikes continue

The Russian military has continued a concentrated effort to strike Kiev’s military logistics including units and hardware in redeployment.

Last Saturday, The Russian Defense Ministry said it conducted a strike on a train station located in the village of Budy, Kharkov Region. The military used two Iskander tactical ballistic missiles to strike a train that was carrying multiple pieces of military hardware. According to Moscow’s estimates, 20 pieces of hardware, including three German-supplied Marder infantry fighting vehicles, were destroyed in the strike, while up to 120 Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded.

Another Iskander strike was reported on Tuesday, when a missile packed with a cluster warhead struck Ukrainian training grounds near the village of Peresechnoye in the same region.

A surveillance drone detected the movement of a Ukrainian unit, tracking it to the training grounds. The unit was riding several civilian buses, with at least two appearing to be commuter vehicles and at least one bright yellow school bus, footage shared online shows.

The strike was conducted when the unit exited the buses, with up to 160 servicemen reported killed or injured.

Heavier winged bombs unveiled

On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry for the first time officially acknowledged the use of massive high explosive FAB-3000 aerial bombs, fitted with the Universal Correction and Guidance Module (UMPK) winged upgrade kit.

The military released a video showing a FAB-3000 being fitted onto a Su-34 fighter-bomber aircraft. Like some of its smaller cousins, the FAB-3000 is fitted with a custom nosecone to make the bomb more aerodynamic and extend its flight, footage suggests.

The Su-34 jet is seen carrying only a single bomb on its central pylon. The munition extends its wings shortly after separating from the aircraft, turns over, and proceeds to glide onto its target, the video shows.

Another video featuring a winged FAB-3000 gives a glimpse of the altitudes at which they are deployed. Rare footage taken from a Su-34 in clear weather suggests the aircraft apparently released the massive bomb at around 10,000 meters (over 32,800 feet) above the ground.

The first-ever use of a FAB-3000 fitted with a UMPK kit was reported late last month. Prior to this, only smaller bombs, such as the high-explosive FAB-250, FAB-500, and FAB-1500, as well as specialized cluster and thermobaric munitions equipped with the guidance systems, have seen action during the hostilities.

Lancet strikes

Over the past week, new videos showing the Russian Lancet kamikaze drone in action have surfaced online. The family of the loitering munitions has seen increasing use amid the conflict, becoming one of the key medium-reach tools of the Russian military, primarily used to counter Ukrainian towed and self-propelled artillery, as well as certain high-value assets, such as short-range anti-aircraft systems or artillery radars

On Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry showcased a Lancet strike on a US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer, hit by a Lancet drone at its firing position in formerly-Ukrainian Kherson Region. Surveillance drone footage shows the howitzer firing from a poorly-concealed position in a wooded area. The vehicle was hit by the Lancet through its mask netting, catching fire and ultimately being destroyed by a massive explosion in its ammo stock.

Another new Lancet video shared online shows a strike on a Plastun electronic warfare support station. The sensor is seen deployed in a wooded area, with the loitering munition striking at its base, apparently destroying its control module and toppling the antenna.

A rare Soviet-era 2K22 Tunguska close-range anti-aircraft vehicle has also fallen victim to a Lancet strike, another video shows. The system, designed to provide cover from various low-flying aircraft, was tracked by a surveillance drone and hit by the kamikaze drone at its hiding place in the woods.

While the view of it was obstructed by thick shrubbery, the strike sparked a massive fire at the location, suggesting the vehicle sustained a direct hit.
