Russia showed miracles of endurance and tolerance when it extended the Black Sea Grain Initiative in the past, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

"This deal was signed precisely a year ago, on July 22, 2022. This so-called 'deal' was extended more than once. The last time was in May of this year for the period up to July 17 inclusive. We extended this deal again and again and, by extending, showed simply miracles of endurance and patience, tolerance,” Putin said at a government meeting, adding that the West did everything to undermine the initiative.

Putin also noted Russia sees obstacles even when it wants to donate fertilizers to poor nations.

“Of the 262,000 tonnes of products blocked in European ports, only two batches were sent,” Putin said.

The Russian president further underscored the West undermined the essence of the agreement that maintained a "colossal humanitarian significance."

“The West completely undermined and wronged this essence. Instead of helping countries in need, the West used the grain deal for political blackmail, and besides, as I said, made it a tool for enriching transnational corporations, speculators in the global grain market,” he stressed.

"No one was going to fulfill any commitments and agreements on the grain deal, they just constantly demanded something from the Russian Federation," the president added.

He also stated the West demonstrated audacity and impudence unwilling to adhere to the terms of the deal towards Russia.

"Even Russian intensions to donate fertilizers to poorer nations are hindered by the West," Putin highlighted.

It is Russia that contributes to global food security, while statements that Ukraine feeds countries are lies," the president emphasized. Although "the continuation of the grain deal has lost all sense," Putin noted, detailing that Russia is ready to consider returning to the grain deal if all obligations concerning Moscow are implemented

“I want to emphasize that we are not against the deal itself, as such. Especially given its importance for the global food market … And of course, we will consider the possibility of returning to it, but only on one condition - if … all the previously agreed principles of Russia's participation in this deal are implemented without exceptions,” he said.

"All obstacles for Russian banks, financial institutions that service the supply of food and fertilizers must be removed. This includes their immediate connection to the SWIFT international banking settlement system. What we need is not some promises or idea on this issue. We need implementation of these conditions."

"And one of the basic conditions for Russia to return to the grain deal is restoring the humanitarian essence," Putin stressed.

"I believe that the UN staff sincerely sought to fulfill the promises made by the West. But they never managed to achieve anything. They did practically nothing for the normal work of the deal," the leader noted.

When the Problems Appeared

Russia, Ukraine, Turkiye and the United Nations struck a deal to provide a humanitarian maritime corridor for ships with food and fertilizer exports from Ukrainian Black Sea ports on July 22, 2022. However, while Moscow has been performing its part of the accord, pledges to lift sanctions on Russian vessels engaged in grain and fertilizer exports were not kept.

Problems with insurance and servicing of ships in ports were not addressed. Banks did not issue loans to purchasers of Russian grain and denied bank guarantees, often citing the danger of Western sanctions.

Moreover, the grain transported via the Black Sea barely reached the poorest countries, which was one of the main points of the deal. Only 2.6% of the deliveries were sent to countries in need, while 80% of supplies were heading to nations with high or above-average incomes.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the summit of BRICS leaders in South Africa via video link, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said. The host nation announced earlier on Wednesday that the Russian leader will not attend the high-profile event in person.

Putin’s contribution to the gathering next month will be “comprehensive” despite its remote nature, Peskov told the Russian media on Wednesday. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will travel to Johannesburg in person to serve as Moscow’s representative, he added, confirming a previous statement by the South African government.

Earlier in the day, the office of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the two nations had agreed that Putin would not travel to the country, sending Lavrov instead.

South Africa is a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which in March charged Putin with “kidnaping” Ukrainian children. Moscow dismissed the accusation as politically motivated, baseless, and coming from a Western-compromised entity.

Due to its status, South Africa would technically be obliged to attempt to arrest Putin and hand him over to the ICC, if he were to arrive on its soil. Ramaphosa’s office earlier warned that such a move could lead to war with Russia.

Peskov denied on Wednesday that Moscow had issued any threats to that extent, but argued that there was “no need for any explanation” of the risk.

BRICS is a club of large non-Western economies which comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. In recent years, it has held virtual summits due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Russian Airborne Forces hit seven objects with the help of kamikaze drones in the course of the special operation.

A clip published by the Defense Ministry shows Russian loitering munition wiping out Ukrainian positions in the Artemovsk (Bahmut) area.

The Lancet kamikaze drones have proved their efficiency during the special military operation due to their high precision and low cost compared to average cruise missiles and UAV.

Despite the media hype, the counteroffensive launched by Kiev early in June has turned out to be a failure. All Ukrainian generals have achieved so far is high losses in troops and expensive Western military equipment.

Watch Russian Lancet Kamikaze Drone Destroy Ukrainian Air Defenses

Moscow's Armed Forces often use expendable UAVs for high-precision strikes, and Lancets prove to be one of the most effective kamikaze drones.

A clip published by the Defense Ministry shows Russian Airborne Forces taking out a Ukrainian Osa air defense system with a Lancet kamikaze drone.

Loitering munition (a.k.a. kamikaze drone) is a projectile that can loiter by definition – passively wait for its prey and immediately attack once the target is located. It is way smarter than your average cruise missile and cheaper than a regular UAV. However, it is called kamikaze for a reason – a drone has a built-in warhead that detonates after collision.

Kiev launched a counteroffensive effort early in June and despite the media hype, all Ukrainian generals have achieved so far is high losses in troops and expensive Western military equipment.

Watch Russian Artillery Knock Out Krab Howitzer in Special Op Zone

Kiev has been hyping its "counteroffensive" for a long time in order to fork out NATO countries, probably thinking military equipment will turn the tide. However, the push turned into a slaughterhouse for Ukrainian troops. And it became clear that Western equipment, including Krab howitzers and Leopard tanks, can easily become expensive scrap.

Russia’s Ministry of Defense has published footage that shows Russian artillerymen destroying a Poland-made Krab howitzer in the special military operation zone.

Artillery is often dubbed as the “God of War” for its decisive role in military conflicts throughout history. Captured Ukrainian militants often say that they were shocked by Russian cannonades that eliminated the landscape and left no place for them to hide.

KAZAKHSTAN'S PRESIDENTIAL PRESS OFFICE / STRINGER / AFP

On the occasion of a series of regional summits held between October 12 and October 14, the leaders of several countries (including Qatar, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Iraq, Belarus and Pakistan) as well as Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin all found themselves visiting Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan. It was a new diplomatic role that Kazakhstan had been vividly dreaming of playing on the international scene: that of a bridge between Eurasia and the Middle East.

But behind the scenes, another tectonic shift is at work, both geopolitical and economic: the earthquake triggered by the war in Ukraine, which is also reshuffling the deck in Central Asia. It represents a risk of destabilization for the countries in question, but also an opportunity for them to become more independent.

Until now, Russia had safeguarded the military security of the region through the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. But here is the problem: Weakened by the war in Ukraine, Moscow is no longer able to act as a law enforcement officer between all of the former Soviet republics. Hence the resurgence of old conflicts in recent weeks, notably between Armenia and Azerbaijan and between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Hence the countries hope, too, for their emancipation from Moscow. In Astana on October 14, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon declared that "Russia must not ignore the interests of the small countries of Central Asia, as it did during the Soviet era." His Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, did not even come to welcome Mr. Putin personally at the airport – unimaginable even a year ago!

Drawing a new trade map

These desires are not new to Kazakhstan, which does not recognize Russia's annexation of territories in Ukraine and welcomes Russian men fleeing the draft. The country, which, like Ukraine, experienced a terrible famine under the Soviet yoke, has for years been pursuing a so-called "multi-dimensional" policy: cultivating good relationships with Moscow as well as with Beijing, Ankara, Washington and Brussels. This has always annoyed Russia. Since February, some of President Putin's most zealous supporters have been threatening to "denazify" Kazakhstan, as they're doing Ukraine.

Beijing preemptively drew a line in the sand: For his first foreign trip since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Chinese President Xi Jinping went to Astana on September 14, where he declared his support for the "national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity" of Kazakhstan. In short, Beijing will intervene if Moscow sets foot in the country. It's an unlikely scenario, to be sure. "But these comments by Xi Jinjing mark a major turning point," explained Annette Bohr from the London-based think tank Chatham House.

"Lavrov has not had any Track Two or Track Three talks, as US media put it, with anyone on agreements with Ukraine," Maria Zakharova stressed.

Fake news about Moscow and Washington allegedly discussing Ukraine continue to circulate, including, among other means, as a way of destabilizing Russia from within, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Channel One television on Wednesday.

Earlier, Russia dismissed as fake allegations purporting that, in April, US officials held secretive talks on Ukraine with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"Lavrov has not had any Track Two or Track Three talks, as US media put it, with anyone on agreements with Ukraine. These are bogus stories, and this was done intentionally. Among other things... this topic will be constantly floated for the sole purpose of destabilizing us from within," the Russian diplomat said.

Earlier, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that the Biden administration had not sent any signals on Ukraine via experts to Lavrov during his visit to New York in April.

Commenting on these US media reports and a statement by White House National Security Spokesman John Kirby, who said that a group of former US officials had attempted to establish an unofficial communication channel with Moscow, Zakharova explained earlier that the United States was seeking to present one of Lavrov’s meetings with political science scholars at the United Nations as an alleged meeting with US political figures. According to her, current international relations and the global agenda were discussed at Lavrov’s meeting with the academics, but the discussion did not touch upon any Ukraine peace plan.

Putin explains why RT is persecuted in the West

Russian media outlets including RT have been banned by Western governments because they fear the truth, Russian president Vladimir Putin has said. The president made the remarks on Wednesday during a meeting of the ‘Russia – the country of possibilities’ civic platform.

“Probably, [truth] is the sharpest weapon against lies, and propaganda soaked with these lies,” Putin stated.

Cakra Khan Memukau America's Got Talent, Apa Yang Salah dari Para Juri Indonesia Idol?

Cakra Khan Memukau America's Got Talent, Apa Yang Salah dari Para Juri Indonesia Idol?

Cakra Khan Memukau America's Got Talent, Apa Yang Salah dari Para Juri Indonesia Idol?

Cakra Khan di AGT dan Indonesia Idol

Cakra Khan sukses bikin memukau panggung America's Got Talent (AGT) 2023, sat ia melantunkan lagu 'No Woman No Cry' dari Bob Marley Cakra mendapat empat yes plus standing ovation dari juri dan penonton.

Di babak audisi AGT 2023 Cakra Khan awalnya membawakan “Make It Rain”.

Simon pun meminta Cakra Khan membawakan lagu lainnya. Penyanyi 31 tahun itu pun akhirnya membawakan lagu “No Woman, No Cry” dari Bob Marley.

Cakra Khan membawakan lagu tersebut dengan apik. Suara khasnya membuat penonton terpukau.

Pada saat pentas di Indonesia Idol, Cakra mengaku dia hanya diberi kesempatan menyanyikan setengah lagu 'I Believe I Can Fly'.

Namun yang terjadi ia ditolak oleh juri Indonesian Idol lantaran suaranya yang aneh. Belum tuntas menyanyikan lagu 'I Believe I Can Fly', Cakra langsung dihentikan oleh juri. sungguh yang aneh itu para juri-nya.
