Earlier, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces had found a safe way to shoot down Ukrainian UAVs, which involves the use of FPV drones that destroy enemy drones with overhead strikes.
While conducting aerial reconnaissance in the Avdeevka direction, a Russian drone detected a Chinese-made Ukrainian drone, a DJI Mavic 3 model. The Russian weapon engaged in an aerial battle with the enemy UAV to intercept it.
The following video is footage of the ensuing aerial battle between Russian and Ukrainian drones near Donetsk in the Avdeevka direction:
Maneuvering his weapon in special mode, the Russian operator used air-ramming tactics and used his drone to strike the Ukrainian drone in its upper hemisphere, thereby damaging the enemy drone's blades and causing its downfall.
Watch Russian Tor-M2 SAM Destroy Ukrainian Drone While Evading Attack
The Tor-M2 is a Russian-made surface-to-air missile system designed for short-range air defense. It is capable of engaging a wide range of targets, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and cruise missiles. The system uses advanced radar and fire-control technology, and can operate in all weather conditions.
A Russian Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District has destroyed two Ukrainian drones, one of which had to be targeted while on the move, maneuvering because of return fire from the enemy.
The footage shows a surface-to-air missile hitting a Ukrainian drone. The first UAV shot down was a Ukrainian-made Furia.
The Tor-M2 is designed to repel massive, high-precision weapons strikes. It is the only system in the world capable of reliably engaging air targets on the move, allowing it to change position quickly and evade enemy return fire immediately.

Germany Preparing Ukrainian Soldiers for Counteroffensive - Reports
German instructors are training Ukrainian soldiers for urban combat at a dozen military bases across the country ahead of Kiev's much-touted spring offensive, a German tabloid reported on Saturday.
The report said that over 1,000 personnel of Ukraine's special forces are being trained in Germany at "a good dozen" of Bundeswehr bases. In particular, they are being taught to conduct urban combat and operate heavy equipment, including Leopard 2 tanks and self-propelled howitzers Panzerhaubitze 2000, the newspaper said.
Earlier this month, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Kiev could mount a counteroffensive as late as this summer.
Later, he said the offensive would begin soon. US media have reported that the operation was scheduled for April 30. Last week, Foreign Policy reported, citing a Ukrainian lawmaker, that Ukraine hoped to launch the offensive in April, but the shortage of weapons has delayed it indefinitely.
